Luci sighed, wiping away tears. “I’m sorry. It’s just… I’ve never actually left here. For all I know, the outside world is a lie. I don’t wish to worry Victor, but… sometimes, I just wonder.” they said, smiling a little strainedly. “If you can’t take me to see the lights, I understand that. But I don’t… I don’t want to die having never seen them.”

He stared up at Luci, weighing all of these things in his mind. "Ah…fuck it. Fine. You can…I'll take you to see the lights." he grumbled, running his hands through his hair and hoping he wouldn't regret this. Hoping he wouldn't get arrested while doing this.
