Grayson let out a content huff of hair and sat down, pulling out some things so he could study. “If you don’t know where to find something, there are computers around or people who work here.” He told Seth, enjoying the look of awe on his face.
Seth nods before hurrying to the shelves and grinning from ear to ear. He takes the closest books and hurries back to the others side. He settles back down and quickly buries his nose into the book, sighing happily at the scent of books.
Grayson glanced over at him and smiled. “What do you have?” He asked quietly, voice barely above a whisper. He fidgeted with his sleeve, not out of nervousness, But happiness.
"History books." He chuckles before smiling at the other, grinning at the other before flipping to the epilogue. "I know that I'm probably reacting to much, but…" He smiles at the other.
“No, course you aren’t. React as much as you want.” He giggled quietly again, turning back to his textbook while smiling. “Just be quiet about it.”
He giggles softly and sighs quietly. "Okay. Quiet it is." He smiled sweetly, loving the gentle giggles leaving Grayson's lips, wishing he could hear more of that.
Grayson shook his head a little, still smiling slightly. He’d never been this happy on normal day before. He set his head in his hand, elbow resting on the table as he read. Seth was completely the opposite of anything Grayson expected him to be, kind and careful and surprisingly handsome.
Seth buried himself into the book, greedily learning about great empires, fair rulers, battle strategy and more. He learned of the great plagues, of illnesses that wiped out thousands. He learned of colonization, about the wonders that were offered as marks in the world. The ancient ruins and what they meant to the people there. His facial expression would change every so often, eyes widening, mouth curling into a smile or frown, or even a sneer. He wanted to know everything the world had to offer.
Grayson studied for a while longer, glancing at Seth occasionally. He looked so focused and curious, kind of like a small child. He put in earbuds and felt his eyes drooping shut. He laid his head down on the textbook and let his eyes close, facing away from Seth.
Seth placed the final book down and sighed happily. "Alright. I think that's enough for now." He mutters quietly. He places the books down before glancing at Grayson. His eyes softened, and he smiled. "Well… I think it's time we went home…" He mutters quietly. "Grayson…" He mutters gently.
(This is so adorable hdjsksk)
Grayson hummed softly in his sleep, hand twitching in acknowledgment. He could hear Seth in the back of his mind, his gentle voice almost putting Grayson back to sleep. He mumbled a couple words of nonsense and shifted a little, no sign of waking up.
( I know!!)
Seth smiled sweetly before gently running a hand through his hair. "Nerd." He mutters softly. He grabs Grayson's things and settles them over his shoulders before gently picking the other up bridal style, setting Grayson's head in the crook of his neck, checking around before transporting them back to Grayson's home. He carried the other to his bed and set him down gently, tucking him into bed.
(sfjsdkjj)
Grayson let out nothing but a tired mumble as he was picked up, not realizing what was going on. His hand clenched around the fabric of Seth's shirt but let go once he was set in bed. The change in scenery didn't seem to effect him until a couple minutes later when he mistakenly rolled over and off of the bed, waking up with a shriek. He groaned and flopped over onto his side, holding his head.
Seth was downstairs when he heard the other cry out, In a split second he was bursting into Grayson's room, just wearing a giant hoodie and booty shorts (it's comfortable, what are you talking about?) and sighed softly. "Are you okay?" he hovers over Grayson before offering a hand to him.
Grayson jumped back when Seth burst in, slumping back down when he realized who it was. He rubbed his head and leaned back against the bed. "I'm fine just..what the hell is going on? How did we get home?" He paused, looking at Seth up and down. "What are you wearing??"
Seth sighed in relief before smiling a little bit. "I brought us home. Don't worry. All your stuff is in your bag on your chair." He runs a hand through his hair before starting at the question of what he was wearing. He chuckled a little. "Bootie shorts and a hoodie. It's comfortable." His ears were a soft red at that.
"Thanks.." Grayson murmured, getting up with a small grunt and walking over to his things. "How long was I asleep?" He asked, running his hand through his hair and pushing it back out of his eyes. He yawned a little and rubbed his eyes, padding around the room while arranging things neatly the way they had been that morning and pulling the blankets up over his bed.
"Only for a little while." he smiled sweetly at the other before settling on a chair. "It's pretty late. Tomorrow is another day." He chuckled quietly before sighing softly. He didn't want to sleep alone, but he knew the other probably preferred his space.
"Are you tired?" Grayson asked with a sigh, flopping down on his back and gazing up at the ceiling. He still felt exhausted but he knew he wouldn't sleep much if he tried. It was nice having company besides his phone and the TV.
"Not really no." Seth shrugged, sitting criss cross and leaning on his feet. "Sleeping is a luxury." He shrugged. He smiled at the other before tilting his head. "I suppose it would be a dumb question if I were going to ask you the same thing?" He asks curiously.
"Luxury? More like blessing." Grayson murmured. "It would be a dumb question. My sleeping habits are pretty messed up though, I can barely make it through the day." He said with a soft laugh.
"Not really. I'd like to shut down every night." He chuckles quietly. "Sleeping is like the humans version of an on and off switch." He tilts his head when the other laughed and a small smile spread across his lips.
"I know, isn't it amazing." Grayson hummed, glancing momentarily in Seth's direction. He caught a glimpse of Seth's smile and turned away, giggling. He always seemed to be rather happier when laying on his back. "So you just don't sleep then?"
Seth smiled wider at the sweet giggles leaving his lips. He chuckled himself before looking with what appeared to be amazement and awe. He was happy to see the male so happy.
Grayson shifted his gaze to Seth, frowning slightly. "What? Why are you looking at me like that?" he asked, blushing slightly under Seth's gaze.
