Ellie was quiet for a moment, "Florin, if it's been hurting this whole time why did you wait to tell me?" She asked, "If you're in pain I need to know so I can help you and try and get rid of said pain."
Ellie was quiet for a moment, "Florin, if it's been hurting this whole time why did you wait to tell me?" She asked, "If you're in pain I need to know so I can help you and try and get rid of said pain."
“It’s been nearly a year since the whole thing happened, so I wanted to believe it wasn’t real and that it would go away eventually.” Florin explained, though his tone of voice sounded a bit unsure. “And it’s more of a personal thing..memory wise.” He added, almost quietly.
She sighed softly, “I get it, it was personal. But still, I can’t help you if you suffer in silence, yeah? If anything feels off I need you tell me okay?”
Florin stays silent for a moment. “..Alright.” He seems to agree.
“Good. And don’t just say that to shut me up because I’m right on this.”
“I’m not, I’m not.” He put his hands up for a moment. Florin seems to glance to the side.
"Good." Ellie sighed a little. They made it back to the main office and Ellie headed to a room in the back, pulling out her card and scanning it against a pad on the wall. The door opened.
Florin looks back again and continues to follow her. “So the key is hopefully gonna be here?”
"Hopefully. If not we can see if Kyle knows who has it." She shrugged, "Technically he shouldn't but he knows everything so."
“Alright.” Florin crosses his arms. He‘s interested to see what’s in the Vault, but there’s the hurdle to overcome beforehand as well. Trying to find the key. Florin stays silent for now, not having much to say.
Ellie led Florin into the small room. It was fashioned like a locker room, though they looked more like a collection of mail boxes then anything. At the end of the room was a small box. She headed towards that and knelt down, entering a pass-code.
Florin trailed after her, stopping when she did to enter the code. Florin looked down slightly, watching the box and her.
"Well? Is it in there?"
Ellie paused for a moment, "I…" She reached in, pulling out a tiny silver key, "Yes."
Florin looked at the key. “Well,” he began, “that’s good. So, are we going to go to the vault now that we have the key?”
"That was the plan, yes." Ellie shut the door and stood, "Just… try and make it look like we didn't find anything… Kyle will probably get suspicious."
Though he seemed to tilt his head, Florin did not ask why Kyle would get suspicious. He just chose to accept it and follow it. "Alright."
She nodded, leading him out the small room. It locked automatically behind them as they left, and Ellie led them towards the back of the offices, behind the files.
Florin looked behind them then back forwards again. He trailed after her, staying silent for now.
The door was large and made from steel when they arrived. Ellie used the key to push it unlock it, leading them down a large metal tunnel.
Florin, though he stayed fairly silent, was taking note of each detail on his walk. “So, we’re hoping to find something down here..” He finally spoke, though trailed off.
"Hopefully…" Ellie mumbled. She walked up to the door at the end, placing the key in the lock and pushing open the door, "But no promises."
He nodded. “No promises, right. I can..deal with that.”
Florin looks at the door as it opens.
(I’d just like to say I won’t be very active due to the Coronavirus situation in my country right now, but I will try my best to respond)
(Understandable, stay safe)
The room on the inside was huge. And a mess. There were rows of different objects, some in glass cases, others in torn and broken old boxes. They were all laid out on display or most of the objects were, anyway, hopefully making it easier on them.
Florin seemed to look almost more interested upon entering the room; which he was. He looked at each of the objects, doing a quick skim for now, but he knew they'd probably have enough time to look for whatever they were looking for.
Ellie led them through the mess, headed towards the back of the place or close to it. They had a few transportation items she knew of, but didn't know if they were universe jumping.
