"Okay!" Lin sat down beside Noah and hummed softly to himself, toying with his hair a bit. He was having fun with the games, even if he didn't really know what was going on half the time. "So… since we've all gotten one, I think you gotta pick either Ethan or Liam, right?" He asked Noah curiously. At least he felt Like he was sort of getting the hang of this game.
"Ethan truth or dare!" Noah's dares were beyond extreme, but that's what made the game fun. The game went of for longer than expected but if they wants to make it back to the dorms before the curfew they had to leave. Noah got off of the ground and walked towards the coat rack. "Come on we gotta go Lin. There is a curfew at our dorms." Noah slipped on his jacket and zipped it all the way up to his chin.
"Oh, okay! Maybe we can play the game more when we get back!" Lin smiled brightly as he got to his feet and waved to the group. "Bye! We should play again sometime; this was fun!" He took Noah's hand and followed him out of the apartment. "What other games do you guys play?" He asked curiously.
"It's a lot of kissing and embarrassing games." Noah stopped, and turned to Lin. "You know, I don't know how you can still talk to me after everything we did in the game. I really don't get how you can be so oblivious. It hurts sometimes. I know that all of this means nothing to you it's crazy honestly. I have no idea if I should keep up with it or not because I want to even though it's wrong and I'm only fooling myself." Noah placed his hand on Lin's cheek. "You have no idea what I'm talking about right now do you?"
"Uhh… not really, no." Lin smiled sheepishly at the question, his cheeks lightly flushed with embarrassment. "Honestly, I'm lucky to know what sex is at all, although to be fair, my knowledge of it is very basic and limited… and considering all the things I've been learning as of late, I take it that it's probably a lot more than I think it is. Regardless, it's… not really something I've ever been particularly interested in."
He's so clueless. "I wasn't even talking about sex…" He mumbled. Noah looked at a rock and kicked it pretty far. His anger ran deep, not at Noah, but towards himself. He knew that Line was way too clueless, yet he was stil taking advantage of him. "Lin, I love you." Noah smiled and continued walking.
"Huh? Why?" Lin asked curiously. "I-I mean, thanks, but… we just met each other today. Or is this another friend thing that I'm not familiar with?" He held a bit tighter to Noah's hand, seeming confused, but not upset or anything. He just wasn't exactly familiar with relationships, especially not ones that moved so fast.
(Sorry sorry! There was a lot of snow where I am had to shovel a lot!)
"No, not like that, it's just something I said. Let's head back before my hands freeze off." Noah walked into the building pressing their floor number. Noah warmed his hands by rubbing them together. He stepped out the elevator. He continued walking till he reached the room. "I put the key in your pocket so you could get used to opening these locks."
(Np ^^)
"Oh! Okay!" Lin kept following Noah, not seeming particularly bothered by the cold. He was pretty used to being forced out in the cold for extended periods of time, after all, and usually when it was much colder than this. He pulled his key out of his pocket when Noah mentioned it and carefully slotted it into the keyhole, managing to open the door after a few seconds of struggling. "There we go!"
"Great job." Noah ruffled Lin's hair. "Now place the key on the counter and you're done." Noah took off his jacket and hung it up on the rack. I'll take a shower first okay?" Noah took off his shirts and then looked back to Lin. "You do know what showering is right. I hope." He there his shirt the bed and grabbed a towel from his closet.
"Mmkay." Lin set down his key as instructed and looked up at Noah, nodding a bit. "Yeah, I shower. That's one thing we were encouraged to do." He laughed softly. "Usually they were either ice cold or burning hot, but either way, we were allowed to." He shrugged and lay down on his bed to wait for Noah to get back.
Noah nodded and stripped the rest of his clothing before going into the bathroom. Noah let the hot water run down his body, starting to feel warm after a while. Noah sighed. He didn't want to be in there too long so he washed his hair and turned off the shower. He dried himself then wrapped the towel around his hips. Noah walked out and tapped Lin's shoulder. "Your turn. You can use whatever soap, shampoo, and conditioner in there."
"Alright. And I guess I'm allowed to have it a reasonable temperature." He laughed softly and pulled some fresh clothes out of his bag so he could go shower as well. He returned about ten minutes later with wet hair. He'd already gotten into his new clothes, and he was trying to rub his hair dry with a towel.
"It's better if you use a blow dryer you know." Noah was wearing a shirt and underwear while blow drying his hair. "Come here." Noah waved his hand over to Lin. Noah turned off the hair dryer and told Lin to still in front of him.
"Oh, okay…" Lin did as he was told and sat cross-legged in front of Noah to allow him to blow dry his hair. He closed his eyes and relaxed a bit at the feeling, seeming to like the way it felt.
Noah was brushing his finger through his hair , making sure to get every inch of it. "It feels like I'm your mother. Did she ever do things like this with you." He kept blowing drying pausing to scratch his nose or sneeze. "It would be bad if I had a cold, it's probably just allergies."
Lin laughed softly at the first question and shook his head. "No… my mother never did anything like this. I believe she taught my oldest brother how to do things, and he was the one who taught the rest of us. My parents didn't take a very active role in my life unless it was school or training."
(Sorry I've been busy these days, some family business was going on.)
"So I'm like your older brother. That's even worse I'm working towards your boyfriend. you know. "Noah sighed shook his head. He turned of the blow dyer and and combed Lin's hair with his hand. "There you go. Nice and soft. You're very open about everything which surprising. Usually people don't want other people to about their past."
(Np <3)
"Mm… I dunno. I rather liked being around my older brother." Lin smiled softly and looked up at Noah once his hair was dry. "I don't mind being open about things. I mean, it's not like anything could really happen from it." He shrugged a bit. "People know more about me then, and if someone wanted to go as far as to try and get my parents arrested for everything, I'd be okay with it. I haven't done anything wrong, so I'm not at risk of anything."
"I get that, but…" Noah unplugged it. He wrapped the wire around it and stuck it under his bed. "Aren't you ashamed by it? Getting abused I mean. It's not something that happened regularly around here." Noah joked.
Lin shrugged a bit. "I don't see why I should be. I didn't do anything wrong. I'm the one who got myself out of a bad situation." He yawned and leaned back against the bed. "Are Americans normally so self conscious?"
"Oh yeah. There are girls who are so skinny, but they think they look fat. Guys are sensitive too. Girl can be really harsh when it comes down to it. They just think we have no feelings, this is why I don't date them. Women will insult the way a man looks because he wasn't good in bed. America is more messed up than you think it is. Never insult anyone it's like a sin because they take it so deeply." Noah sighed. "I'm like that too in a way. I hate it when people tell me to shut up, I even start crying." Noah scoffed. "That's why my friends never to do it. I'l tell them to shut up. It's weird."
"Huh… odd." Lin watched Noah curiously. "I mean, I'm pretty used to being insulted, especially on a very personal level, but I dunno… I guess I'm so used to it that I don't think much of it anymore. The people here have been pretty nice to me, though, so I guess that's good. Do you think it's because everybody is so sensitive to insults?"
"Probably. Anyway time for bed semester starts tomorrow alright. You're classes start at 10. Mine start at 6 and go until 6. Get some rest." Noah turned off the light then got under his covers. He took his laptop and started working of a private project.
"Alright… but, um… your friends said a couple things I didn't understand." Lin said softly. "Like… Avery said that I was 'taken', and Ellie asked if you 'deflowered' me after we came out from playing the game. What do those mean?"
