"Take?" she asked, slightly disoriented. "I didn't take anything…"
"Take?" she asked, slightly disoriented. "I didn't take anything…"
"Then why the hell did you pass out?"
"I-I don't know," she stammered. "Your hand was burning me."
"Your hand was burning mine!"
Her mouth fell slightly agape. "We… burned each other? How is that even possible?"
"I don't know, but it's not supposed to happen!"
Wait, I'm an angel. The only beings that can burn me are… Trinity's eyes widened quickly, and she took a step back away from him. However, she forgot that he was still holding her from when she'd fallen unconscious, so her small backwards step did very little.
"What?" Axton asked, taking the hint and dropping his arms from where they were around her. "The hell happened, girlie?"
Once he released her, she backed away quickly. It all made sense now… the burning hand… selling her soul…
"You're a demon," she accused, pointing viciously at him.
"…Girlie, you're just figuring this out?" He asked, blinking. "I was literally offering for you to sell your soul."
She frowned. "And I didn't think you were serious!"
"Why would I be joking about that?!"
"I don't know! Humans are stupid!"
"Why are you saying that like you aren't human?!"
All emotion dropped off her face. "I-I'm not… What?"
"What do you mean you aren't?" Axton asked, face falling. What did I just do?
She winced. "I'm… not human?"
"What the hell are you?"
Hesitantly, she closed her eyes. Her wings became slowly faded into existence, but she used her magic to ensure that only he saw them. She quickly opened her eyes again.
Axton blinked, taking a step back before his back hit the wall. "Angel…" He whispered, stunned. I FUCKED UP BIG TIME-
She winced but nodded.
"…I need to go-" He said, pushing himself off the wall and trying to move down the street.
"Wait!" She meant to yell, but it came out as a feeble whisper.
(I'm thinking she goes into like a club or something, and just like drinks or whatever because her ethics or whatever is kind of gone, and he has to, like, save her or something is that okay?)
((Sounds good!))
Axton turned a corner, leaning against the wall. "What have I done?" He whispered to himself, looking down at the burn marks still visible on his right hand.
Trinity glanced down at her hand. The burn was still there, seared into her previously flawless skin. The neon lights illuminated the marks, and she looked over at the door. The beat of the music inside could be heard from where she was standing. And it called to her.
