"C'mon!" Julie cried, grabbing Trinity's wrist and pulling her towards the dance floor. Trinity shrieked in excitement and nearly fell off the stool she'd been sitting on.
Axton sipped his drink, looking out at the dance floor.
Julie began to dance wildly, swinging her hips and shaking her a$$. Trinity only watched until Julie grabbed her hands with vigor. "I don't know if I can do that," the angel shouted to be heard over the music.
"It's easy," Julie yelled. "Just do what I do!"
Trinity nodded, then mimicked Julie's movements.
Julie whistled and clapped. "Go Triny go!"
((I'm sorry but I love Julie, she just straight up adopts this weird random girl who's never had a night out before))
Axton looked away, humming along to the music as he sipped his drink. It was a song he knew well-in fact, he owned the record when it first came out.
(Oh, don't be sorry! I love Julie too XD Literally just came up with her, and now I'm thinking I'm going to develop her more.)
Trinity blushed furiously. "Was that okay?"
"Okay?" Julie asked, looking shocked. "Babe, that was perfect!"
Trinity giggled again.
Axton bit back a sigh, thinking back to an old favorite song.
Now here you go again, you say you want your freedom
Well, who am I to keep you down?
It's only right that you should play the way you feel it
But listen carefully to the sound of your loneliness
Like a heartbeat drives you mad
In the stillness of remembering what you had
And what you lost
And what you had
And what you lost
(OMG THAT IS THE PERFECT SONG FOR THIS RP)
The girls danced for a few more minutes before Julie remembered their drinks. "Let's go back over to get a refresher, okay?" she called.
"Okay!" Trinity answered, partially looking forward to going back to Axton's side.
((Which is a little ironic, bc technically it's a breakup song))
Axton drank down the rest of his drink, running a hand through his hair for the millionth time and sending it into further disarray.
(Yeah lol, but the words totally work!)
Trinity pushed herself up onto the stool next to his and glanced over to see him run his hand through his hair. Not knowing any better, she reached over and ran her fingers through his hair too with a giggle.
Axton jumped a little at the sudden contact, looking over at her. "Back already?"
She laughed sweetly. "Your hair is soft!"
"…Thanks." He said, a faint blush painting his cheeks.
"No problem!" she chirped. A sudden, wondrous look came upon her face. "Is mine soft?"
"I… have no idea." He said. "Off-topic, but is this your first time getting drunk?"
"Yeah, but you have to tell me, you have to feel!" She grabbed his hand and put it on her hair. This sparked a chain reaction that caused her to giggle uncontrollably.
Axton smiled a little. "Yes, it's soft." Insanely soft??? How????
She grinned happily. "Yay! We both have soft hair!" His hand in my hair feels so good…
"Yes, yes we do." He said, carefully pulling his hand back. She's a silly drunk, then.
She tried her best not to look disappointed as she turned to Julie, who appeared to be watching them with interest.
"Drinks?" she asked in a squeaky voice that was definitely not hers.
Julie smirked. "Yeah, they're almost ready."
Axton leaned against the bar, relishing a little in the pleasant buzz he had going so far.
Trinity nodded, starting to feel a little dizzy. It's nothing, she assured herself.
Axton glanced over. "Alright, girlie?"
Though Trinity didn't notice it, her body was beginning to sway slowly from side to side. "Yesss," she slurred, gripping the edge of the bar to subconsciously stable herself.
"You sure? Don't look like you're holding up too well."
