Jasper passed the camera to Keith and walked up to Scarlet, cupping face in his hands and kissing her lips Drawing it out for a few seconds before pulling away and grabbing a second gallon from the fridge "what the hell!!! it's still spicy!"
She laughed and felt her face grow hot again, not from the pepper this time though. She continued to drink her gallon of milk, "I could've told you that." She said between gulps of the liquid.
Keith laughed from his spot, still recording "Oh that was absolutely adorable! THere's your incentive Scar!"
Jasper continued to dring the milk and smiled "still hate spicy food…" he said with a laugh "absolutely hate it"
"You can call me Red if you want," She said to Keith, a smile on her face. She chuckled and shook her head, glancing at Jasper, "Are you going to be ok?" She joked, already done with half the gallon.
Jasper nodded and smiled "will you? You're still red,"
Keith rolled his eyes "the peppers not the reason Jas,"
"Shut up Keith!" She said, her face growing even more red. She drank some more milk so that she didn't have to talk, the spice of the pepper already almost tolerable.
He laughed "if Jassie's told you anything about me, it's that I never shut up."he pressed stop on the recording camera a d placed it down.
Jasper downed more milk and smiled "nope, ever,"
Scarlett sighed and chuckled, "The pepper actually wasn't the worst after you got used to your throat and mouth burning..it felt like someone was pouring lava down your throat and spraying tear gas at you at the same time." She looked at the gallon of milk and drank some more, glancing at the other two.
"…you're really weird Red, no one has ever put eating a ghost pepper in those words before," Keith said with a smile "Jas you good," he asked teasingly
" Never been better," he said with a grin then drank more milk, "thanks by the way for allowing us to do this, what do I owe you?" He asked
Keith shook his head "nothing my friend, nothing at all." He said with a smile
She laughed, "I know I'm weird, I'm just supprised that Jasper has put up with me." She downed the last of the milk and glanced at Jasper.
Jasper glanced up and winked "I could say the same about you," he finished off the gallon and stood, walking over to Keoth and embracing him "again, thank you for this, I might not be able to talk to morrow but thanks," Keith hugged him back and smiled "no problem, and you guys can come over anytime you want."
"Thanks Keith," She said as she stood, a small smile on her face. She walked over to the two of them and stood slightly to the side, letting them talk.
The two broke away from their embrace "no problem Red, it was my pleasure. And very nice to meet you, glad that Jassie finally found a girlfriend." He gave a theatric bow.
Jasper rolled his eyes and smiled, heading to the door "yeah yeah, Shush you," he waved in departure and smiled
Scarlett followed Jasper happily, waving one last time to Keith. "That wasn't too bad," She said, smiling, "Where are we heading next?"
He glanced at her "no idea, I had only planned this far," he said with a slight smile. "And 'not that bad' is an understatement, that freaking pepper probably ruined vocal cords for days."
"Eh, my vocal cords will be fine," She said, grinning, "We could go wherever, otherwise there's a game that I've heard of that we could try, we'd need a coin though."
He glanced at her with a smile "you've caught my attention, what kind of game?" He asked pulling a quarter from his pocket and flipping it in the air
"Well, its more just a game of chance, but basically I'd choose a number between ten and twenty. Then, based on that number, you'd flip the coin the first time, if it's heads we turn left, if it's tails we turn right at the first intersection we get to, we'd then walk to the next one and do the same thing and when you've flipped the coin the number of times I chose at the start that's where we have to find something to do at that location." She explained, grinning slightly, "I've wanted to try this for quite a while."
He thought for a moment and smiled "I actually really like that, let's do it. Who's going first picking the number? Me or you? Or do you just want to coin flip a coin?"
"I can pick the number, you can flip the coin." Scarlett said, smiling and bouncing on her toes, "Let's say…eighteen."
He nodded and flipped the coin "heads," he said glancing at her
"Alright, head left," She said, pointing down the street with a smile. She started walking down the sidewalk happily, grabbing Jasper's hand as she walked.
He smiled at her and followed, intertwining his fingers with hers "what if it ends up to be a parking lot? then what?"
She chuckled, "Tag, if there's cars hide-and-seek is always an option. You just have to use your imagination."
He smiled "I am a master at tag, hide and seek not so much," he said with a grin, flipping the coin again as they got to another intersection. "now I'm hoping we go to a parking lot"
