"Ten." She said, crossing her arms and looking at him.
"Ten." She said, crossing her arms and looking at him.
"Don't you wanna get away to a whole new part you're gonna play 'Cause I got what you need, so come with me and take the ride" He said glancing at her with a grin, towering over her by a head
"To the other side, So if you do like I do,So if you do like me," Scarlett sang with a smile. "Forget the cage, 'cause we know how to make the key."
"Oh, damn! Suddenly we're free to fly We're going to the other side" he sang to the sky, the earth and the space around them with a smile, feeling free and wild
"So if you do like I do," She sang, pointing to herself, "So if you do like me, 'Cause if we do we're going to the other side." She let the last note ring out, leaving the last line for him to sing.
He smiled and stared at her as she sang the last note. He slowly walked over to her and pulled her towards him, firm enough to guide her to him, loose enough in case she didn't want to get close "'We're going to the other side." He whispered gently.
She smiled and laughed lightly, "That was fun," She didn't object to being close to him, actually liking it a lot.
He nodded "it was, I think we took too many turns, definitely more than 18," he said with a laugh, a bit surprised that she didn't pull away. He wrapped his arm around her waist loosely and glanced around "now where the heck are we…"
"That's a good question.." She looked around as well, seeing a few buildings and an empty lot that was overgrown with weeds. The buildings were shops of sorts, not ones that were gone into often it seemed.
His hold on her instinctively got tighter, and he pulled out his phone "I'm calling Lindsey to pick us up, I don't like this."
She shook her head, "We'll be fine, let's check out the shops."
He debated between the two and nodded, putting his phone away and following Scarlet to one of the shops. "think they have a book store around here?"
"I don't think so," She grabbed his hand and headed towards the most normal looking shop, quite curious about what it actually sold.
He let her tug him to a shop, keeping a wary eye on the streets around them "anything interesting?"
She shook her head, looking in the shop window, "Just a bunch of old stuff..the shop looks closed anyway." She sighed, "Well, we can probably leave, this place is starting to get just a little creepy.."
"ooh creepy old stuff," he walked to the door and checked if it was unlocked "dang,"
"Weird old stuff," She pointed to something in the back of the shop through the window, "This whole place looks sketchy."
He nodded and glanced around "want me to call Lindsey now?"
"Sure," She said, taking a small step away from the shop, "We're on, Broad street? I think at least."
He pulled his phone out and called his cousin "hey Lindsey, mind picking us up? No we're not drunk, no we're not high. Broad Street, yeah the abandoned part of town, ok 5 minutes? Thanks. Bye." He put his phone away and walked around a bit "welcome to end the era's ice has melt it back to life."
"Panic At The Disco?" She grinned, "Done my time and served my sentence, dress me up and watch me die." She tapped her foot against the ground and looked up at the sky, which was quickly growing darker.
He nodded and grinned, sitting down at a curb "If it feels good, tastes good, it must be mine." he glanced up and sighed
"Dynasty decapitated, you just might see a ghost tonight." She sat down next to him and smiled, stretching out so that her legs were straight.
He smiled and leaned his head against hers "and if you dont know now you'll know," he sang, deepening his voice
"I'm taking back the crown," Scarlett sang back, looking around at their surroundings as they waited for Lindsey. "I'm all dressed up and naked, I see what's mine and take it."
