Ooo that gave me an idea! Perhaps my character can be one of those "angels" that Kiger sees! And maybe they aren't angels, just another dimension that's populated with humans that have evolved differently! Let me know your thoughts before I make my character!
Ooh, yess!! I think that's an awesome idea, I'm totally in love with it! ^^ I'm looking forward to seeing what you come up with, this is going to be so much fun! : D
Aha amazing!!! Aaaaah so glad you like the idea!!! Will get my character up in the next half hour or so!!!
Name: Amber Desvares
Age: 19
Species: Human (homo airius)
Appearance: (ref) mid-chest length wavy red hair (a red-head, as we call 'em), blue eyes, pink lips, and freckles around the bridge of her nose. her feathered wings are jet black, and to support her weight, her literal wingspan is around 12 feet, give or take a couple inches. she usually wears something similar to this (but without the accessories) https://pin.it/fzauyyhn6wck6v
Personality: confident, a natural leader. she feels the need to protect those younger than her as well, or a motherly instinct, tho she never uses words like "dearie," to others.
Powers, if any: flying, but that comes from her wings. she's also excellent at pranks and tricks of all sorts, but other than that, she doesn't really have any powers. everyone has wings where she comes from, so. for some reason she can hear others, as if in another overlapping world of sorts, but everyone says that's just her having delusions. (aka kiger talking to those in her world)
Backstory: –
Other: when i said everyone, i meant it. even the animals have wings lol. she has a pet cat, a golden british longhair with green eyes and white wings (wingspan is about three feet) named sunny
Beautiful, I love it! ^^ What should our plot be? ^^ Something about Ash-Flowers, I guess xDD
Aha maybe they're both searching for an "ash-flower" whatever that is?
Sure! I know Kiger could be looking for it to somehow stop the war on his plane or something ^^ Maybe they could meet when they try to find it, and then they get into a fight over who will get it, but they have to team up in order to figure out where it is and then they become friends?
Should it be an actual flower? Or like Something figurative?
Maybe it's something figurative and it's supposed to represent peace or something? Wait - I think a black rose would fit the scene better than a "ash-flower" since neither of us really have an idea of what it looks like.
Ooh, yes, that's a good idea ^^ Maybe it has powers that make it special, which is why they're looking for it, and it's called the ash-flower because of its color ^^
Oh, and just a heads up, I won't be on tomorrow at all, we've got a horse show, and those take all day xD
Oooo horse show! That sounds really cool! And that's totally fine I understand! I'm usually pretty busy on Saturdays (like today) anyways!
Powers? Elaborate please! ^^ And yeah, the thing about nicknames is cool!
Hey, i'm back! ^^ That was one long day xD
About the powers, I'm not sure exactly! Maybe the flower is whats allowing them to see each other somehow, like it's burning the dimension or something?
Aha XD
Oooo that's a really cool idea!
Yay! ^^ Okay, so the plot so far, is that they figure out they can actually see each other, and then they realize the dimensions broken somehow, and somehow figure out about the ashflower to find it and somehow fix the problem? xDD
Alright! XD Idrk but let's go with that! We can mix it up a lil' bit as we go too :)
Sure! ^^ Do you wanna start? Or should I? ^^
mm in this case, i think i'd like you to start if that's no problem ^w^
Okay! Can do ^^
Kiger normally hung out with his friends on Tuesdays. Well, to be fair, he normally hung out with his friends every day, but he had stayed home today. Or, so he told them. In reality, he slipped out the back as soon as they'd driven away, trying to ignore the after image of Harley's disappointed face. But he just couldn't today. He needed to find and angel. Call it silly, but he hadn't seen one in weeks, and as aloof as they were, he found comfort in them. Hoisting his backpack a little higher, he set off into the woods to the circle of trees where he'd seen them before. Just to know they were still here.
Amber tried to shake the memory of the voice that echoed through her head, driving her nuts. "Hello?" she heard the male voice running through her head. She hadn't been to the woods in weeks; her spring break had ended already. And she was forced to go to school, and they had piled homework on her. Ugh, really? It was so annoying. Luckily, her step-mom had forced her to go outside and take a break from her homework about five minutes ago. The woods were so relaxing, she loved to take walks to that clearing in the middle of the forest and just sit, admiring the beauty of the forest. She got a head start, jogging down the main path that had worn down by her feet from her walking that way every day for about two weeks. It was starting to get a bit overgrown for lack of her adventures to the woods, but that didn't matter much. When she got there, she lay down, her wavy red hair splayed out on the dirt.
Kiger hadn't been expecting to actually see one of the angels as soon as he arrived, but there she was, bringing an instant comfort. He slowly walked closer, knowing she couldn't see or here him, and sat down not far away.
"I wonder what kind of angel you are," he asked absently, talking to himself more than anything else. He stretched out on the grass and closed his eyes. "I bet you're a really cool one," he murmured, entirely planning on taking a nap.
Amber sat up. There was that voice again. She laughed softly, just to herself. "Hah, I'm not even an angel," she remarked quietly. She scooted over to the nearest tree trunk and leaned her back against it. A few minutes later, without any context at all, she whispered, "But a seraphim would be cool."
For a second, Kiger thought he'd imagined the voice. Then he realized he hadn't, and sat bolt upright.
"Did you just talk to me?" he asked the angel.
Or…not angel? he wondered, confused.
Amber looked around for the source of the voice. Not being able to see who was talking to her made her stressed. No-one could hear the voices but she could. She couldn't talk to anyone about the voices without making herself seem crazy. Like, mentally crazy, and that annoyed her. She stood up, and tired of walking, she unfolded her wings and jumped up, using her powerful wing muscles to lift herself off the ground. She didn't know where she was going, but she wanted a peaceful place. Perhaps she could just fly around the top of the forest, like a bird?
"WAIT!" Kiger shouted in a panic as he saw her lift off. "Don't go, please! Don't leave like all the others, don't leave me alone!"
He took a few halting steps after her, reaching out desperately. "I can see you, can't you see me? Please!"
The voice drifted in and out, and Amber only caught bits and pieces of Kiger's desperate cry. "Wait… don't leave… alone…" She looked back. Was there someone out there? Maybe she wasn't having delusions. She flew over the treetops, looking through the openings but saw no-one. "Wait here, I'll be back!" she called out. A couple of minutes later and with some convincing, Amber got her parents to come out and help her look for a person. "I don't see anyone," her mom stated doubtfully.
Kiger had heard her ask him to wait, so he did, shocked she'd actually answered him. None of the others had before. Relief coursed through him when she returned, an it took him a minute to figure out what she and the other two were doing.
"I'm right here," he said in confusion, waving his arms extravagantly. "Come on, can't you see me? I can see you, and you can hear me, right?"
