Alexa sighed and backed away from him running a hand through her hair again letting it stay there for a moment, "Not really, probably to lowborn to actually bother being on any watch list. But if that's so than we definitely need a solid plan. Ugh, mi cabeza es muy lenta en este momento."
"I agree with whatever you said," Arsen said, pizza in his hand forgotten. "I can sense the presense of people around me, with my Diviner ability. I could pretend that I was checking something out, like maybe seeing if there are any witnesses, and while you fake stab the guy, maybe with a dye packet to look like dye or something, I could create a distraction, so that they're diverted, while you explain to the guy how to act dead and the plan. And maybe I could accidentally blow up the place, to 'burn' his body."
Alexa thought for a moment and leaned against the counter. She went through his plan and nodded slowly, "Yeah, that makes perfect sense. Ties up most of the loose ends, except how do we get him his new life without the System figuring it out?"
"I've heard… whispers," Arsen said hesitantly. "Of a rebellion. And how we could potentially reach them."
Alexa raised an eyebrow at that, "You? Little rich boy heard about a rebellion? Okay, how do we do that then?"
"Easy," Arsen said dismissively. "Have you ever been to the Lousy Tavern? It's an actual place in New York." He shook his head. "Why people would name a place that is dumb."
"Let me guess, that's where the rebellion is?" Alexa responded looking at him carefully, "And yes, that is quite a dumb name."
"No," Arsen said. "Why would they tell anyone where the rebellion is held? No, there's a person there who knows how to contact the rebellion. We'll go there tonight, if you want," he offered. "We could say it's on a lead for the target."
Alexa paused before she nodded along. She leaned off of the counter, "Sure. We can head out now if you want, just let me get changed first."
"Alright." Arsen glanced down at his suit. "I probably should, too. Meet back here in," he looked at his watch, "fifeteen minutes? I know woman need lots of time to get ready for things. Think you can get ready that fast?" He smirked.
"Please, it'll take me five," Alexa responded her eyes marked with a challenge. She walked over to her room and opened the door, "Carrera que."
"Whatever the fuck that means," Arsen grumbled. He went into his room and changed quickly, pocketing his wallet and a few other… things that might come in handy, and left his room, all in a matter of minutes.
Alexa stepped into her room taking the dress off and slipping on a pair of jeans, a shirt, and a jacket. She would wear her sweatshirt, but the one jacket she owned felt more appropriate. She left her room moments before Arsen, "I win."
"No you didn't," he retorted. "I finished first, I was just grabbing some things we'll need." He pulled his wallet from his pocket and waved it in the air. "Like this."
Alexa crossed her arms as she leaned on the counter, "Counts as getting ready, so I still win. You're just mad."
"I said get dressed, not get ready," he retorted.
"Mmmm, agree to disagree?" Alexa offered him as she undid her arms to shove them in her pockets.
"You know I'm right." Arsen put it back in his pocket and moved to the door, opening the door and mock bowing for her to exit first. "You're just ashamed to admit that I got the best of you."
Alexa rolled her eyes as she stepped out of the hotel suite and into the hallway, "What you want to say, rich boy. I know what I know."
"Areyou sure about that? Maybe a Runner messed with your mind, and now you only think you know things." He followed her out, and then took the lead, walking to the elevator.
"Why would a Runner mess with my head? I'm no one important," Alexa responded raising an eyebrow, "So yeah, I know what I know."
"They'll get into anyone's head, if they can," he said, with a smirk. "Or their pants. Trust me, I know them."
Alexa made a face at the latter comment. She shook her head as she went and messed her hair up a little, "So they've gotten in your pants before? Okay."
"Not mine," Arsen said, shaking his head. "I'm offended that you would think that I would be so gullible. I have friends who are Runners." He went outside, holding the door open for her yet again, and smirked.
"Really? To think you would be friends with a commoner," Alexa commented walking through the door. SHe didn't mind him holding the door open for her. In her eyes, it was a sign of respect.
