Ethan laughed softly. “That’s quite possible.” He said, while Jax took off into the house, probably headed to the kitchen, knowing the way from the hundreds of times he’d been here.
Ethan laughed softly. “That’s quite possible.” He said, while Jax took off into the house, probably headed to the kitchen, knowing the way from the hundreds of times he’d been here.
"I swear, you two are gonna make me feel like a third wheel here." She rolled her eyes with a smile.
“Good!” Jax yelled from the kitchen, some lights turning on further down the hall where Jax was.
Ethan rolled his eyes, laughing again. “Yeah people say that a lot actually.”
"Well they have a point! You two really act like a couple sometimes!"
“That’s because Jax is clingy and needy.” Ethan said as they made their way into the kitchen.
“Ethan didn’t one of your girlfriends break up with you because she thought you spent more time with me than with her?” Jax pointed out. Ethan only sighed in response, meaning it was true.
"And that's why I'm here! To confuse the hell out of everyone!" She laughed.
“Yep!” Jax agreed, grabbing random snack bags out of the pantry, tossing one to Ethan who luckily caught it.
She leaned against the wall, looking around at the house. "I can't believe your parents let you stay here alone. My mother would never."
“Oh I’m really not part of the decision honestly, they just always have some meeting to be at or somewhere better to be.” Ethan said with a shrug.
"Well now you've got us here to be just a tad bit less lonely."
“Yeah, God knows Jax is going to do something stupid to heighten my anxiety though.”
Jax chuckled, blowing him a kiss and Ethan rolled his eyes, gently shoving the other.
She slapped Jax upside the head with a grin. "Will you leave him alone for five minutes?"
“Never!” Jax screeched before running up the stairs looking like an absolute friend.
Ethan sighed, “I swear he acts like he’s on drugs.”
"Sometimes I think he is on drugs. At this point, it wouldn't surprise me." She laughed before patting Ethan's shoulder. "I feel bad for you.
“It wouldn’t surprise me either. I appreciate your pity.” He smiled over at her. “Now come on, we should catch up with him before he does something stupid.”
"He's always doing something stupid, this is Jax. But I suppose you're right." She leapt up the stairs after Jax to try and find him before he broke something.
Jax was surprisingly not doing anything, he was just laying on the floor in Ethan’s room.
Becca nudged Jax with her foot. "Are you dead? Did that run up the stairs kill you?" She chuckled.
“Shh!!” He hissed, turning around to swat at her foot.
Ethan walked into the room.
“Ethan your cat still hates me!!” Jax exclaimed, literally acting like a toddler.
Ethan laughed and Jax lay back down on his stomach, looking under Ethan’s bed where there indeed, was a cat.
"Maybe you just don't have the right approach. Move your ass, let me try." She nudged his side as she crouched onto the floor.
Jax moved a bit, letting her through, still having a small pout on his face.
She kneeled down next to the bed and waited. Eventually, the cat crept out from under the bed and into her lap. She smiled, petting the cat softly. "Told you that you were doing it wrong."
“Yeah yeah whatever.” Jax said softly, scooting over and carefully beginning to pet the cat, a soft smile on his face.
She hummed contently, she hadn't pet an animal in a while so she had forgotten how calming it was.
Jax’s smile widened as he kept petting the cat. Ethan meanwhile, just sat down on his bed, watching the two of them with a small smile.
