He pouted

"Aww, come on, cheer up." She kissed his cheek softly. "Where's that usual smug grin of yours?"

“You killed it” he grumbled childishly.

"Oh no! How horrible! Will you ever forgive me for such a thing?" She cried dramatically.

“No I won’t forgive you! Not in a million years! You murdered my best quality!”

"Oh please! I beg of you for your forgiveness!" She had to repress her laughter that threatened to break her carefully crafted act.

“Too bad! You’re not gonna get it!”

She pouted sadly, letting her appear upset and broken which wasn't exactly a difficult thing to do.

He gasped. “That’s cheating noooooooo! My very well buried sense of empathy is coming back!” He did another dramatic ass gasp.

She forced herself to tear up, just to up the ante a little bit. She was having way too much fun messing with him.

“You’re so mean”

She sniffed a little, her tears threatening to spill over. She wasn't giving up.

“Don’t do it I swear”

She merely blinked and the tears slipped out, starting to stream down her cheeks.

“Nooooooo!”

They continued to fall, only flowing faster. She was good at this.

“Okay okay I forgive you!” He blurted out

Her tears instantly stopped and a triumphant smile broke out across her lips. "I knew I would crack you eventually, I just had to be patient."

“Meanie” he turned away

"You know you love me." She teased with a grin.

“Whatever. I never said that.” He replied grumpily.

"You implied it though." She laid her head on his shoulder.

“Did not. Don’t make me formally friend zone you.”

"You're too much of a tsundere for something like that. Guard down, guard up, guard down, guard up. You can't hide it from me."
