Jax just watched her quietly, managing to stay awake for a good 20 minutes before drifting back off to sleep.

She stayed asleep, though it was now much more relaxed than before.

The next time Jax woke up was because Zeus was sitting on him. The dog licked his face thoroughly. “Ewww!! Get off of me Zeus! You big lump!” He tried and failed to get the huge dog off of him, who seemed very content with his spot on Jax’s chest. Jax flopped back onto the bed with a sigh. “Fine. I yield.”

His shouting jolted Becca awake and she shot up, instantly regretting it as she winced. "Oww, not a great way to wake up in the morning."

“Sorry. Blame Zeus.” He glared at the dog before looking back at her. “You okay?”

She laid back down slowly, holding her side. "I was until you started yelling."

“I’m sorryyyyyyy. Forgive me please”

"Hmm, I don't know that I should." She pouted like a child, fighting back a smile.

He gasped. “Oh you are NOT pouting! Pouting is my thing!”

"Well not anymore!" Her pout never faded, looking up at him.

He pouted right back at her. He was competitive and childish. He wasn’t gonna lose this gracefully

She kept her pout, tears welling up in her eyes with it like a toddler about to throw a tantrum.

He lasted maybe another two minutes before he gave up. “Fine you win!”

"Yes! Haha!" She broke into a grin, giggling softly. "I knew you'd never last."

“Whatever. I just let you win.” He grumbled.

"Alright you tsundere, whatever you say."

((FACTS

“I’m not a tsundere!” He screeched

"Max, I'm not to sorry to tell you this but you are the definition of a tsundere."

“Not true! Up until right now I haven’t said baka not even once!! Therefore, I cannot fit the stereotype, thank you for coming to my TED Talk.”

"Not all tsunderes say that. They just act like assholes most of the time and then show a soft side when they need to. Oh hey! That sounds exactly like you!"

“Dammitttttt” But would he admit that she was right? Never. That’s the closest he was gonna get.

"That's a defeat if I've ever heard one." She laughed. "I win again!"

He groaned, burying his face in Zeus’ fur. “Zeuuuuuus….I’m being bullied help me”

"Nah, I think he agrees with me. Don't you, buddy?" She smiled and pet the dog.

Zeus barked happily and Jax gasped. “Traitor!!”
