"You're gonna have to get used to boring days, kid. It doesn't get any better."
"I…I didn't think it would." Bridge admitted, a wall of silence rushing on them after he'd spoke.
Scipio remained silent for a long time. His body was still aching, and the mark on his neck looked agitated.
"Are you…" Bridge spoke after a while. "Are you going to be okay soon?"
"Physically, probably. Mentally, I was never 'okay'. Not by society's standards, anyway."
"That's what…what I meant. Physically." Bridge said, nodding a little. I think he's mentally okay too.
"Well, then yeah. I'll heal fine." Scipio stared at the ceiling, rubbing his neck absently.
"Okay…good." He decided, shutting his eyes again.
Scipio basically just ranted to himself about Dave inside his mind for a while, as he sometimes liked to do during slow days. It always got him good and ready for a fight if Dave showed up.
Bridge was…considering. What to do. How he felt - about a lot of things. Making sure he was still himself - things like that. He had no idea what he could do to get back home. Probably nothing. How he felt? He hated Dave and his father, disliked the place and the other guards, wished he could visit his mother, and was pretty sure he had a crush on Scipio.
"What're you thinking about?" Scipio asked suddenly, not moving at all. He could tell Bridge was deep in thought about something just by observing the changes in his body language.
"Oh." Bridge blinked. "A…a lot of things."
"Like what?" I wish there were things to do here…
"Um…" He considered what to tell Scipio. "Dave. My dad, and here, and my mom. And…never mind."
"Go on. This is more interesting than anything else going on right now. Which is nothing."
"Well." Bridge cleared his throat. "I hate Dave and my dad. I don't like it here…I wish I could visit…my mom. And I'm thinking about…you," He admitted with a small blush.
"Mm. I'm just thinking about how much I hate Dave. I really fucking hate that guy."
"Me too." He sighed, glad Scipio didn't linger on Bridge's own thought.
(Bridge: Thinking about you. Scipio: I really hecking hate Dave)
"Like, I didn't even try to attack him until he tased me that first time. He was the instigator, not me."
((thats a mood right there))
"I…I know he was. He…wouldn't listen to me."
"No, like, when I first got here. I never tried to attack him until he started doing that to me."
“Oh…really?” Bridge asked, looking up. It sounded likely.
Scipio nodded. "I wouldn't have stirred up so much trouble if he hadn't made me hate him so much."
“That…that makes sense,” Bridge admitted.
"Although I am I violent person anyways, of course. The whole operation was meant to be kept quiet for the most part."
