Dali let out an annoyed grumble as his pillows started to move, his arms trying to reach over to keep them there. He was barely awake in the way of being awake that was basically just being really out of it.

Mir smiled at Dali’s grumbling and gathered him into his arms to cuddle him as he let him wake up in his own time, just making sure his best (boy)friend was comfortable.
When Mir did that, Dali let out another little purr and fell back asleep. Yeah, not a morning person, what so ever it seemed. Even his thoughts were just: mm, warm, soft, warm, cuddly, warm.
"We'll need to visit the doctor for some painkillers, then," Corbin said. He found it cute, how Dragomir had brushed his hair out of eyes only to put it right back. He looked down when Dali protested their shifting, lightly placing his hand on the man's head when Dragomir gathered the man up with a small smile.
“That would be nice…” Mir mumbled, leaning subconsciously up against Corbin, watching Dali through the strands of his white bangs with his pretty pink eyes. “So how is the day going to go? Are we just going to show up as your concubines or what..? Or do we need to get clothes and things first?”
(y'all: cuddling and hugging within a week of the RP starting)
(Mine and Swim's RP: has been going on for literally a year and they've really only held hands and accidentally cuddled)
(This honestly happens in every RP I’m in….)
(…So I’m starting to think it’s me…. oops.)
(It's me to lolol, I'm touchstarved and therefore all my ocs are aswell)
(…..literally me. My character with Wolfy is canonically touch starved…. as is my one with @Calanthe….)
(makes for good fluff!)
(Me, fully aware that I can't write much but I don't want this rp to die rn: yo!)
(My anxiety over being seen as an annoyance: Yo!)
(Lol, don’t worry, I’m the same, it’s just that Swim is on a different schedule today.)
(Ah, testing?)
(So, guess who forgot they had a four hour long test today and didn't study aha)
(I'll get a response up in a sec!)
(Me, fully aware that I can't write much but I don't want this rp to die rn: yo!)
(My anxiety over being seen as an annoyance: Yo!)
((Omg this is my moooooood))
"New clothes would be in order," Corbin said. He couldn't help but notice the other man shifting closer to him, leaning against him some. He hummed very softly in approval, relaxed on the bed with the two halfings.
"Dali's leg brace should be ready sometime today as well."
Mir smiled. “I hope it works well, maybe he’ll finally manage to have only a minor limp…” he yawned and snuggled into Corbin shamelessly, still hiding behind his bangs. “So we don’t need to be officially introduced to the court, right? We just kind of appear…? Or how does that work?”
Corbin was a bit surprised by Dragomir's forwardness, but he didn't mind at all.
"No, you just have to show up. The nobility is not… keen, on knowing who they think the king is in bed with." Of course, there would be some rumors spread once it has been made public that the two men were halflings, but they could handle it.
Dragomir nodded and sighed in relief. “Oh good. Sorry, I don’t know anything about the royal court….” He closed his eyes as sunlight started to hit them from a window, happily soaking it up, feeling warm. He could feel his ability to discern emotions coming back stronger as his body registered it was rested and no longer in pain.
(This means that the other two writers need to start telling their characters emotions so Dragomir can react appropriately….)
(rad, cna do)
Dali started to wake up, blinking away the sleep and rubbing away the goop on his eyes. His eyes were still fuzzy from sleep, so he didn't really try to look around, just moving closer to the warmth of Mir. "Morn'n…" He yawned. He wasn't really awake enough to feel complex emotions and simply just felt comfortable and nice for once.
Mir smiled and ruffled Dali’s hair. “‘Morning sleepyhead. Did you sleep alright after I woke you up last night?” He leaned over and nuzzled the other’s hair on top of his head, extra affectionate after he got good sleep and care.
"Oh, it's okay. Most don't." Corbins smiled some, feeling content. He couldn't help but feel good with these two men around, even if he was still slightly weary of Dali. After all, the man had been very aggressive towards the king.
"Good morning," Corbin said in turn, voice softly. The king offered a smile to Dali in turn now, comfortable with the two men with him.
Dali returned Corbin's smile with a hesitant smile of his own. "I slept fine, I can get back to sleep pretty easily. You remember that one recruitment poster? If you have trouble getting to sleep, just join the army. We'll teach you to sleep anywhere." He recited, trying out a meager joke.
Mir smiled and nodded at that. “That’s the truth. I often had to sleep up in trees or gutters when I was spying in enemy territory.” He chuckled. “I remember my colleagues complaining about how they’d still feel the kinks in their backs when they were old men if they managed to live that long…”
Dali let out what could've been a snort and smiled a bit more earnestly this time. "If anyone complained about anything in my unit, you got lashings or tied to a tree. I'm pretty sure I learned my lesson about complaining the first time I got tied to a tree during a wolf threat." He didn't seem to feel too bad about being tied to a tree, he was used to weird things when he had to babysit a bunch of farm kids.
Mid grimaced at that. “Our unit, being just a bunch of spies and assassins, just kinda got free reign to do our work. But with that, we lost al lot of the protection the other units got…” He sighed. “But our favorite thing to do was to sneak into enemy camps just to mess with the soldiers on patrol around the outside by taking their stuff and misplacing it. It was always funny until they got angry.” He smiled but rubbed his arms at the thought of anger, as if it was something that grated against his skin.
Dali hummed at that. "Since I was mostly for engineering things, we moved around a lot. We didn't really mess with anyone other then stealing supplies." He closed his eyes for a moment then blinked them wide again, he didn't want to fall back asleep. Mir and Corbin had already waited for him to wake up.
(I back :0 Art commissions aren't ready yet but I've burnt myself out with my art for the moment and I need to take a break)
Corbin listened silently as the two men spoke of their time in the army. He knew of the punishments used to teach people to conform- so it was easier for them to take orders and work as a unit, of course, but still… during a wolf threat? There were things Corbin hadn't been aware of, and even this small talk he was listening to was revealing things he'd never been aware of, never dreamed of. There were a few emotions stirring in him a moment; surprise, concern, he was even disturbed some. He was quick to do away with them, though. He didn't want to bring the mood down any more then already, wanted to start the day out okay.
The king couldn't help but notice Mir's reaction to his own words, his hand resting lightly on the halfling's back. He himself had nothing to add to the conversation, nothing of value anyway, so he said nothing.
