(I would prefer for you to make a totally different character, just for the purposes of filling the role of an animal shifter. Like Altrince said, if you needed ideas for what you could do, look at the animals I listed at the very start)
(how about like a creepy animal like a wendigo??)
(I… I don’t think the Wendigo is an animal? I might be wrong, but I’m pretty sure)
(No, a Wendigo would class as an 'other' being in this scenario. Like I have previously stated, I gave a list of animals that you could choose from at the beginning. I don't mean to be harsh but if you're really struggling this much then I might have to ask that you do not participate this time.)
(alright, i was just asking, my head was flooding with ideas and i apologise.)

(Uhm yeah, I hate to be that guy but I don’t think ‘species’ was meant to be filled as ‘shapeshifter’. You might wanna just pick one animal and stick to it? If you’re struggling to figure this out, here are some ideas: wolves, owls, toucans, peacocks, coyotes, vultures, ferrets, parrots, and such…)
( Thought you might be interested @Crese_bad )
(Yup. If coffee allows, I'll set up my character)
(Would you mind sending me a writing sample?)
(Not at all, I'll send it through DMs)

Name: Eidus Aurum
Age (16-28 human years): 19
Gender: Male
Sexuality: Bisexual
Species: Horse
Appearance: Eidus has medium length natural white hair which is messy and unkempt. His eyes are sharp and colored black with his left being a prosthetic eye. He has a diamond shape for his face. He has a golden skin coat and tone which is transferred from his horse form.
He has a height of 5'7
Eidus prefers his clothes to be monotone themed and enjoys wearing jackets and sunglasses. He also somehow adores bowler hats.
His form is a palomino-coloured quarter horse. White mane and tail. Gold mixed with a tint of brown skin coating. He has a height of 5' in this form.
Personality: Eidus is always energetic and curious. He wants to know everything. He rarely stays in one place. Some can even say he has ADHD. He is also annoying and distracting as hell. He often messes things up and there are always accidents happening around him. Though he did mature a bit after getting into an accident.
Antagonist?: Yes, he tends to distract close friends who are in a relationship as he want them to be his friends and not someone else's partner.
Backstory (For the beings, what was their life like before, and how did they become tied to B?): Eidus has always been an explorer. With his two feet and his horse form, he traveled on land throughout the continent exploring with the main motive being curiosity. But as time goes by, he felt something was missing. He had no home, no shelter to return to. He seeked for a settlement but there was none. He was rejected and ignored. That is until he met B. B was the only friend he had and probably the only he will have.
Other: His left eye is blind. While he was traveling he have had many injuries but none of them can compare to the one time he was in a car crash whilst he was traveling through a city.
Another crimson sunrise, another chilly day on the outskirts of the city, and frost was beginning to settle on the window ledges of Harrison's small, red brick stately home. As per every morning he began with simple stretches, followed by a shower and getting dressed, before eventually making his way downstairs to the kitchen. With one sketchbook in hand, and a pencil resting on his ear, he leaned back on the marble counter top, sipping a large cup of coffee. Peace and quiet. It was only seven o'clock, so he wasn't expecting anyone else to be awake, though from the soft pattering of footsteps that echoed through the house, Harrison knew that a luxury such as quiet wasn't something he was going to be able to afford today. I wonder which one it is, I ought to have learned by now.
Vix trotted down the stairs not a few minutes later. She had a mouse that was still squeaking in her mouth. Even in her fox form you could still tell she was annoyed. She dropped the mouse at Harrison's feet before shifting into her human form, still crouching over the mouse and poking at it.
"You need to get these damn things out of the attic." Vix spat as she picked the mouse up by its tail. "They kept me up almost all night. You either set up some traps to catch and release the things or I will personally tear up the attic to kill them all." She poked Harrison with the hand that wasn't holding the mouse.
Aster came down the stairs, again, in his black attire. He gave Harrison one good glare before going over to get a coffee for himself. He wasn’t a night owl, nor was he a morning person. He was just equally tiredly expressed all day and all night. He noticed the sketch book and pencil, immediately leaning against the counter of the kitchen and asking: “What’re you drawing this time?”, all the while sipping the boiling coffee.
He glared outside the window, curious as to what shenanigans this day will bring. Judging from Vix’s complaints, today was starting off strong.
Emi lounged on the couch, twirling her hair between her blood-stained nails, a smile curling her red lips. She rarely slept, although she did appreciate the silence and quiet the night brought, to have some peace. Not that she would ever admit that she needed peace. She was a spirit of war, and peace was not something her kind normally liked.
She stood, moving gracefully from the couch into a standing position, and stretched, joints popping. She was thirsty for blood. That stupid Harrison kept her trapped in the house, and she was feeling it. Her claws itched to dig into the chest of a person and rip their heart out, to lick the blood from her nails and watch as her victim slowly died, fear in their eyes as they beheld her. Her mouth watered, and her fangs popped from her jaws, digging into her lip. She scowled and retracted them.
She could hear others already in the kitchen and sighed. There went her peace and quiet. She sauntered gracefully into the kitchen, where Aster, Vix, and Harrison sat. She smirked seductively at them, running one sharp claw along the granite of the countertop, before sitting on the table, legs crossed.
"I think the mice give the house some charm, plus they're kind of cute." Harrison took the mouse from Vix, cupping it gently in his hands. "But if you're really against them I'll find a home for them in the garden."
The human was oddly surprised to see Aster downstairs so early, and cocked an eyebrow to his question. "I didn't think you paid attention to things like my art, but if you must know I'm working on portraits of you all. I realised that I have little to no photographic evidence of your existence so drawing was the next best thing I could think of."
When Emi wandered in and perched herself on the counter, his eyebrows knitted together. Opening the kitchen window slightly, he allowed the mouse to crawl off his palm and escape to the garden. After shutting the window again he threw Emi a very disapproving look. "What have I said about sitting on the counter?"
"That I shouldn't," Emi said, pouting at him. "But I don't see why not. I only broke your counters once, and that was a good thing, too. They were hideous, you have to admit it." She sighed loudly and dramatically. "I'm never allowed to have any fun in this boring place," she stressed, glancing at Aster, looking for an agreement.
Eskja woke up to the light on her eyelids. She took a moment, just laying by a window, looking out to the sunrise before coming to the conclusion that it was time to get up. On certain days, Eskja would rather just sleep for longer, but there was a whole day ahead of her. Might as well see what it brings this time. Life for Eskja wasn’t exactly boring due to her living situation.
She could already hear the voices of some of the others downstairs. Giving herself a stretch, Eskja thought of what she might do first. Get some tea, maybe. That might wake her up a bit more. Assuming she could focus enough to get it, once she got down there.
Just take deep breaths, Eskja. Calm. Eskja was good at being calm.
Eskja made her way down the stairs and into the kitchen, observing who was currently in the room for a brief moment. She gave a slight and soft greeting of, “Hello,” before making her way to a cupboard and getting out what she needed for tea. Getting tea was her focus now.
"Please do it soon, Harry." Vix pleaded as she sat herself down at the counter, resting her head on it. "I haven't gotten a decent night sleep in at least a week because of those things. I can hear them in the walls. I'm going to start hearing them in my head soon." She complained. "Their nonstop chitter chatter make's me want to offer myself up to Emi." She pointed at the sadistic girl sitting on the counter.
"Please do," Emi said, her sadistic grin widening, showing her sharp, blood-stained fangs. "I haven't had a good meal in such a long time. I'll be sure to make it quick, if you do."
