Ashley’s POV:
I grinned brightly down at him reaching down to play with his hair. “I’m so excited, babe… Do you think it’ll be a boy or a girl?”
Sterling’s POV:
A wide smile made its way to my lips as my eyes found Eden. She really did look amazing…
“Yeah… What about you? How’re you and Violeta?” I asked, turning to Gray.
Lucas’s POV:
“A girl,” I breathed out. “So she can be a daddy’s girl.”
Gray’s POV:
I looked over, my eyes finding Violeta. Immediately, my heart sped up and everyone else just naturally disappeared until she was he only one I could see.
“I’m making sure to treat her like she deserves to be treated,” I said softly. “I don’t want to mess this up.”
Sterling’s POV:
I followed his gaze to the girls and immediately grinned. Gosh, our girls were dazzling… More Eden than Violeta, but I was probably a little bit biased about that…
Ashley’s POV:
“I want her to be a girl, too… She’ll be beautiful,” I breathed, running my fingers through his hair. “Come back up here so I can kiss you again.”
Lucas’s POV:
I obliged, pulling myself up so I could firmly clasp our lips together, electricity flowing through me.
(These two finally got their moment but Violay and Steed are suffering lmao)
(Lol. Cash doesn’t care if people see them a little mussed and flustered, but the others seem to…)
Ashley’s POV:
I hummed contentedly as I kissed him back. My arms wrapped around his neck, and I pressed our lips together harder.
(I’m pretty sure both Gray and Eden don’t care about appearances. 🤣)
Lucas’s POV:
I rested my hands on her waist, our mouths firmly pressed against each other’s. I always felt alive around her, but this… touching her like this always made me feel like I was born again. That’s what her touches made me feel.
(Lol. Sterling only cares because he thinks Eden cares, so… Yeah, if she said anything that made him think otherwise, he’d find an empty hallway…)
Ashley’s POV:
Lucas did things to me that I never thought would happen before we were together. My heart beat so quickly, my blood ran so hot… It was like he was a flower and I was a butterfly; I was drawn to him in a beautiful, amazing way. And I loved him with all my heart.
(Then they need to be in each other’s presence because really, all Eden wants right now is to make out with him.)
Lucas’s POV:
I pulled away to kiss her forehead softly.
“I love you,” I whispered. “With all of my heart.”
(Hm… They should. Lol. One of them will have to go to the other so that can happen. Sterling wouldn’t right now, though. Not until he’s finished talking with Gray and E’s finished talking with V.)
Ashley’s POV:
“Funny,” I began with a slightly breathless giggle. “I was just thinking the same about you.”
Gray’s POV:
“Well,” I swallowed the cold water. “I’m going to ask Vy for the first dance. You coming…?”
Lucas’s POV:
Lucas looked at her with deep intensity, running soft circles on her cheeks.
“You’re the best thing that has ever happened to me,” I murmured, dazzled by her beauty. “My first friend, first love, first everything.”
Sterling's POV:
"That's a great idea. Hopefully, I'll be able to keep my hands off of her enough for one dance," I chuckled.
Ashley's POV:
I shivered a little at the look in his eyes. "I'm so glad I've made you so happy. You've made me happier than I could ever imagine. It's so amazing that we've got each other."
Gray’s POV:
I laughed.
“I wish you best of luck,” I shook my head, already walking towards the girls. “I’ll need it, too.”
Lucas’s POV:
I kissed her again, gently.
“I’m glad I make you happy,” I said against her lips. “I would never trade you for anything. I want to grow old with you—there’s so many things I want to do together.”
Sterling’s POV:
I laughed a little with him before we reached the girls. Letting out a slow breath, I let my gaze travel over Eden one time before I cleared my throat and offered her the glass if grabbed for her.
“I’m back, E. Sorry it took so long,” I said softly before turning to smile at Violeta. “Hey, Violeta. You enjoying yourself so far?”
Ashley’s POV:
I smiled against his lips and kissed him back softly. “I’m so glad… I want to do anything and everything with you. Forever and always.”
"Hey, Sterling," I greeted, clasping my hands behind my back. "A lot, yeah. Thanks so much for the invite—how are you doing?" I could see, very clearly, that he was aching to be alone with his girlfriend, so I made a mental note to find Gray after we were done conversing.
(He was with Gray. Lol. Sorry.)
Sterling's POV:
"Good. I'm glad. The McArthurs are known for their events," I said with a gun before my gaze drifted back to Eden.
Eden’s POV:
I looked at Sterling, and once I did, I was unable to look away. I merely stared as he and Violeta talked, not even responding to his remark about my family. I continued to stare, only breaking out of it once Gray joined us.
Gray’s POV:
I looked at Violeta, smiling at her when I joined the group.
“Hey,” I breathed, holding out my hand for her to take. “First dance of the night, please?”

My attention was diverted from the happy couple when my own boyfriend arrived on scene. I gladly took his hand, a wide smile overtaking my lips. “Of course.”
Gray’s POV:
I pulled Violeta on to the dance floor, resting my hands on her waist, swaying gently to the music.
“Have I mentioned you look like a goddess?” I whispered, resting our foreheads together.
Sterling's POV:
After Gray and Violeta left, the only place I could look was Eden. How had I managed to get her, again? Why in the world had she fallen for me, of all people?
"Dance with me?" I asked softly, reaching my hand out to her.
Gray’s POV:
I pulled Violeta on to the dance floor, resting my hands on her waist, swaying gently to the music.
“Have I mentioned you look like a goddess?” I whispered, resting our foreheads together.
“Have I mentioned you look like a god?” I answered in a hushed voice, settling my hands on his broad shoulders.
Eden’s POV:
I swallowed thickly, my hand reaching out automatically for Sterling’s. I was completely and utterly entranced, wrapped around his fingers like a puppet. I didn’t even care, didn’t even try to fight the siren-like ability he possessed.
“Yes…” I didn’t know whether he could hear me or not, because I certainly couldn’t. I could barely speak, my body flushed with need, with want. The one night I spend away from him drained me physically. I could barely get any sleep, missing his warmth. Missing him. He was my wall, my strength, my everything and without him I was absolutely nothing. Utterly useless.
Gray’s POV:
“No, you have not,” I chuckled. “I thought it was an angel. I can’t certainly be sorted into that category. I’m nowhere near your divine power.”
“Bullshit,” I told him, voice softened by the rush of longing that had suddenly filled me from head to toe. “We both know that you’re much higher than I am. And much more attractive.”
