Gray’s POV:
I slipped my tongue into her mouth, removing her hands from my hair and pinning them on the bed tightly, pushing against her harder. I welcomed her quiet moan, responding with a growl of my own.
“You…” I whispered, taking her lip in between my teeth and pulling on it. “Are driving me insane.” I’m
Sterling’s POV:
“Hm… Well, it’s not like it’ll be my first. It has been a while, though. It’ll be interesting to see who’s there,” I mused.
Eden’s POV:
I shook my head, a smile on my face.
“Did your family ever attend the parties thrown by the McArthur family?” I asked quietly, upset that I’d never seen him before anywhere. “We don’t hold one very often.”
Sterling’s POV:
“Not the McArthur’s, but I have been to others. My parents are one of the most influential families, remember?” I chuckled softly, kissing her cheek. “So I’ve been to a few.”

“That’s—“ I choked on whatever I was going to say next, scrabbling for purchase, teaching desperately for some kind of way to keep my cool. “That’s—That’s kind of the point—“

Eden’s POV:
“So that’s why I haven’t seen you around at my family’s,” I murmured, nodding. “My dad doesn’t make us other events. He wants us to have a normal life, so he didn’t pressure us. The only parties I’ve attented are the masquerade balls my family throws.”

Gray’s POV:
I pressed her harder against the bed, kissing her aggressively. Kissing her as if she’d disappear if I loosen my hold on her.
I broke away from her mouth at last, panting heavily for breath. My eyes flickered to her exposed neck before going back to her eyes.
“May I…?” I breathed deeply. I wasn’t planning on going far. The second she felt uncomfortable, I would pull away.
I nodded, puffs of hot air escaping from between my swollen lips. “Yeah—Just—You know—“ I panted, pulse roaring in my ears.
Gray’s POV:
“I know. I won’t,” I promised through deep breaths. “Mark? Can I leave a mark?”
Sterling’s POV:

Sterling’s POV:
“I had always wanted to go to one of the Masquerades, but I’ve always been busy,” I explained with a shrug. “Anyway… Oh, maybe Violeta could help you shop for your dress?”
“You can—You can leave a mark,” I told him, ever single cell of my body at attention.

Eden’s POV:
I thought over it before nodding.
“I think it’ll be okay to invite them, too,” I hummed to myself, referring to both Violeta and Gray. “Your family will definitely be invited, and we’re welcome to bring plus ones…”
I wanted Violeta to meet Ashley, simple as that.
“You can—You can leave a mark,” I told him, ever single cell of my body at attention.
Gray’s POV:
I dipped my head at her permission, trailing kisses down her jaw. I sucked gently on her skin, biting down on it softly before moving forward and repeating the process, wanting to hear a sound of pleasure escape her mouth.
Her skin was extremely soft and smooth. It was just as addicting as her lips, if just a little less. I wanted to leave marks all over her body so that no one even dared think about flirting with her. I wanted to litter her body with bites from me so everyone would know she belongs to me.
This time, my gasp mingled with a low moan, pleasure flooding my entirety. I arched my back against him, struggling against the iron grip he had around my wrists. “Gray…”
God, he was going to me the death of me. I was going to die by his hands, by his hot, roaming mouth… and I wouldn’t regret a thing.
Gray’s POV:
Finally, painfully, I pulled away from her, my lips burning to make contact again. I forced myself to comply, instead resting my forehead against hers, eyes closed.
“You’re mine,” I whispered rather harshly. “And now everyone who sees you will know.”
I opened my eyes, looking into hers with deep intensity before a thought filled my mind.
”If you want to…” I started, my lips twisting into a small smirk. “You can mark me, too.”
My heart thumped loudly against his, adrenaline pouring through my veins as I stared up at him, wide-eyed, one hand reaching up to brush the bite marks he’d left all over my neck. A thrill went through me at his proposal—could I really do it?
Time to find out..
Before I could stop myself, I had gathered fistfuls of his shirt and was pulling myself up, pressing my mouth slowly against the crook of his neck.
Sterling’s POV:

Sterling’s POV:
“Oh, that would be cool. Think they’d come?” I wondered, tightening my arms around her waist.
Gray’s POV:
The second her mouth claimed the spot on my neck, it began to burn. I let out a deep growl, my breathing getting heavy as I rested my hands on either side of her, mostly to prevent myself from falling on top of her.
My neck was my weak point, though I wouldn’t tell her that. If she knew, she’d attack it more often. I wouldn’t mind it, though, because I liked it. I liked her biting that spot, setting her claim on me.
I arched my neck, giving her a better opportunity to continue. Giving her more space. Letting her know she could do whatever she wanted.
I could feel the vibrations of his low growl ripple through his body, the desperation lurking just beneath the thin layer of clothing…. Desperation that I was causing. He felt this way because of me.
Heart thundering in my chest, I began to suck at the spot, experimentally at first, then growing bolder and sinking my teeth carefully into it.

Eden’s POV:
I leaned against him, sighing softly.
“Perhaps,” I replied quietly. “Maybe. I don’t know.”

Gray’s POV:
I hissed as she experimented at first before she finally sunk her tenth into my skin. My breathing intensified and I pulled us up a little more so we were sitting instead of being bent down.
“Vy…” I closed my eyes, sucking in a deep breath, wrapping my arms around her, pulling her closer to me. Desperation began eating out at me and I wanted nothing more than to flip the tables and devour her completely, but I held myself back. She’d taken another small step. This was progress. I’d let her take more and more until she was ready.
Sterling’s POV:
“We should ask them later… They might not be awake quite yet,” I said with a small shrug. “Anyway… Shall we eat breakfast now?”
I pulled away, face flushed, hair mussed, but only to carefully turn us both around so that I was sitting on his lap, legs wrapped around his waist. Sliding my tongue slowly over my bottom lip, I leaned in again and bit down on that same spot, this time hard enough to leave a bruise.

I almost said something, but I held myself back and cleared my throat.
“Pancakes?” I repeated.

Gray’s POV:
I wrapped my arms tighter around her, my breathing becoming heavier as she bit the same spot again. The only difference was, it was harder.
Heat flushed through my body, my mind going crazy, my thoughts traveling in a frenzy. I forgot absolutely everything except her legs wrapped around my wait, her lips on mine and her teeth sinking into my skin.
I was probably going to die young, and she’d be the cause of that.
“Shit,” I cursed, a quiet groan escaping my lips.
