(Well… I’m skipping. Lol.)
Eden’s POV:
We somehow ended up in the shower. When, where, how, why, I didn’t know. All I knew was that we were in the shower, dripping wet, and I was thoroughly devoured. There was not a single part me not aching with pleasure.
I panted heavily, unable to stand on my own.
“Still think you’re the only one going insane…?”
Sterling’s POV:
I smirked at her, chuckling breathlessly as I wiped damp hair out of my eyes. Hm… Maybe I should get a haircut soon…
“I think we might have a small obsession with each other, my queen,” I murmured, reaching around her to shut the water off. “Or… a large one, as it may be.”
Eden’s POV:
“You think?” I scoffed, my body trembling. “They should put this off as a drug. But I suppose if I wasn’t doing it with you, it wouldn’t be addicting.”
Sterling’s POV:
I hummed my agreement and kissed her lightly before grabbing the towels and handing her one. She was right; this was addicting. And it certainly wouldn’t be with anyone else.
“Very true. Although, I’m not entirely sure if just this is the drug, or if the drug is you,” I mused as I wrapped the towel around my waist and then stepped out of the shower.
Gray’s POV:
I tightened my hold on my girlfriend, pressing my lips to the top of her head as she called my name, voice coated in sleep.
“I’m right here,” I whispered, kissing her lightly again. “Good morning, beautiful.”
“G’morning…” I mumbled, burying my face in his chest. “You’re.. you’re warm….”
Last night, when the time for us both to sleep had come, I’d suddenly found myself overtaken by nervous energy. But he had been so gentle with me… so careful… my anxiety had soon faded away, and we’d fallen asleep, limbs entangled.
Eden’s POV:
I frowned at his back as I wrapped the towel around myself.
“Of course it’s me,” I rolled my eyes. “I’m the drug.”
Gray’s POV:
I chuckled and hugged her tighter, running my fingers through her hair.
“Well, I’m glad I am,” I murmured softly. I’d gotten an amazing night’s sleep last night, with Violeta in my arms. She fit in perfectly, and I was glad she was comfortable enough to fall asleep with me.
“Do I have to move….?” I said this into his chest, pressing closer still. “I’m toocomfortable where I am to get up….”
Sterling’s POV:
I chuckled softly before turning around to smile at her, running a hand through my hair. “Of course. The only drug I’ll ever take,” I declared, winking at her.
Gray’s POV:
“No,” I grinned. “You don’t. Stay here.”
I kissed her head all the while smiling. She felt comfortable, huh?
Eden’s POV:
I hated it not really when he winked at me like that. I got out of the shower slowly, careful not to slip, before I exited out of the bathroom to get myself clothes.
“So,” I said with my back turned towards him. “What are we doing today? I’m thinking we should go get ourselves clothes for the masquerade party my family throws each year.”
Sterling’s POV:
“Hm… That sounds good… Should we get something matching? Like, a theme or something?” I wondered as I stepped out of the bathroom and grabbed my clothes from where they had been abandoned on the dresser.
“What about… classes?” I cracked open one eye to look up at him, burrowing deeper into his embrace.
Eden’s POV:
I dropped my towel on the floor, getting started on wearing my undergarments.
“We should definitely get something matching…” I murmured. “Masks are a necessity, which I’m sure you know.”
Gray’s POV:
“It’s a Sunday,” I poked her nose. “Who has classes on a Sunday?”
Sterling’s POV:
“Of course. Should they just be something simple, or do you think we could get away with animals?” I wondered, purposely keeping my eyes away from her as she dressed. I didn’t need that temptation right after we just finished. “I could be a fox and you could be a peacock.”
Eden’s POV:
I pulled a shirt over myself, pulling my hair out from under my shirt.
“Definitely not,” I snorted. “It’s a formal party, Ry. We can’t get away with animals.”
“Sunday….. right..”
I shifted upwards, craning my head in order to press a soft, sleepy kiss to his jaw.
Sterling’s POV:
“Well, hey, they could look formal. Haven’t you seen those really cool masks that are shaped like animal faces?” I asked, sitting down in the bed when I was finished dressing.
Gray’s POV:
I chuckled, looking down at her.
“That’s the first time you did that…” I murmured.
Eden’s POV:
I turned around to give him a deadpanned look.
“All right,” I said after a moment of silence. “We’ll see.”
“It’s the farthest I can currently reach…” I mumbled in response, squeezing my eyes shut and pressing my face against his chest.
(I can’t find any good masks… sigh)
Sterling’s POV:
“What color should we do?” I wondered, smiling up at her and reaching my arms out to her.
Gray’s POV:
I smirked and lowered my head a little.
“Well, let me help,” I chuckled, smirking.
(I found some~)
Eden’s POV:
I thought over it for a moment, walking over to him, to his outstretched arms.
“Purple…” I said after a few seconds of thinking. “Purple and black?”
“M’too tired to initiate anything…” I murmured, words muffled by the fabric of his shirt.
Gray’s POV:
I simply chuckled, shifting so she was laying directly on top of me.
“Comfortable?” I asked her teasingly.
I groaned softly, continuing to hide my face, which was now pink. “It’s too early for you to fluster me like this…”
By now, it was probably clear to him that I was not a morning person.
Gray’s POV:
“But I’m only making my girlfriend more comfortable,” I teased, pulling the covers over us a bit more. “Go back to sleep, love.”
Evidently, my sleepiness had removed any kind of filter I might have had, because the next thing that flew out of my mouth would have put awake-me to shame.
“I’d be more comfortable if you were on top of me…”
