Gray’s POV:
I froze when I heard what came out of her mouth. Is this what she’s like when she’s sleepy? If it is… well, can’t say I don’t like it.
I immediately flipped us over so she was underneath me and I was on top, my hands on either side of her to make sure I didn’t squish her under my weight. Then I leaned closer to her ear, stopping when I was barely touching it.
“Like this?”
My eyes flew open, an electric shock ripping straight through the drowsy fog surrounding my brain. Wide awake now, I stared up at Gray, my eyes round from surprise.
“Like—Like that.”
Eden’s POV:
I thought over it for a moment, walking over to him, to his outstretched arms.
“Purple…” I said after a few seconds of thinking. “Purple and black?”
Sterling’s POV:
I pulled her into my lap, her back to my chest, and rested my chin on her shoulder. “That’s fine. I’ll wear a black suit and a purple tie, then.”
Gray’s POV:
I chuckled, looking at her with a deep intensity in my eyes.
“Have I ever told you that you look hot when you wake up?” I said in a low voice, an eyebrow slightly raised, a smirk on my lips. “Especially when you’re under me like this—eyes wide, cheeks pink… lips parted open…”
I wasn’t really going to kiss her, no. I needed to brush my teeth first, but I didn’t have my toothbrush on me. Ugh.
Sterling’s POV:
I pulled her into my lap, her back to my chest, and rested my chin on her shoulder. “That’s fine. I’ll wear a black suit and a purple tie, then.”
Eden’s POV:
When I was sitting on his lap, thankfully I at least reached his neck. I let my head rest against it, my eyes closed.
“It’ll be the first time we’ll make an official announcement of us dating…” I murmured. “At a rich ball, too…”
I let out the tiniest of flustered squeaks, abruptly clamping my mouth shut until my frenzied heartbeat had calmed enough for me to speak again.
“You’re—You’re just going to tease me all morning, aren’t you?”
Gray’s POV:
I grinned at her darkly, a mischievous look in my eyes.
“Am I…?” I leaned forward, closer until the distance between our lips was practically nonexistent. “Why would I do that? And to my beloved, no less?”
“Y-You tell me—“ I choked out, pouring all my efforts into remaining where I was and not pulling his mouth down to mine.
Gray’s POV:
This. This is what I loved the most. When she tries to keep up with me but fails because of my actions, because of what I make her feel. She’s already stuttering, her face getting red… her eyes swimming in desire. For me.
Unfortunately for her, she wasn’t getting anything.
“Well… here’s what I would do to my darling,” I pretended I was going to clasp our lips together firmly, but quickly dug into her sides, running my fingers up and down to tickle her.
I let loose an undignified squeal, trying and failing to jerk away from his fingers as I curled into a tiny ball. “Gray!!”
Sterling’s POV:
“Hm… Well, it’s not like it’ll be my first. It has been a while, though. It’ll be interesting to see who’s there,” I mused.
Gray’s POV:
I held her in place, making sure not to let her slip from my grasp. Man, I made a rather hasty decision. It would have been too embarrassing had she not been ticklish.
I tickled her harder, grinning like a maniac, loving the laughter that escaped her lips. It was like music to my ears.
“Do you want me to stop?” I asked, teasing her.
“Yes!” I gasped, laughter tumbling from my lips. “I’ll do—Anything—I’ll do anything—“
Gray’s POV:
My smirk widened.
“Anything…?” I chuckled darkly. “Do you really mean that, my love?”
“Any-Anything—“ I gasped, curling up tighter in a weak attempt to halt the tickling.
Gray’s POV:
“I’ll hold on to that…” I whispered before letting her go. And that, ladies and gentlemen, is how we started our day.
I lay back, panting softly.
“Do I get that kiss, now?”
Gray’s POV:
I raised an eyebrow at her forwardness.
“Should you?” I asked, raising an eyebrow before deciding over it. “Well, consider it a prize for being so forward with me.”
I firmly clasped our lips together, softly, for a few seconds before I pulled away.
“That’s not nearly enough,” I complained, reaching up to grab hold of the front of his shirt.
Gray’s POV:
I smirked.
“Well, if it satisfies you…” I leaned in again, pressing our lips together gently, reaching out to cup her cheek softly in one hand while the other remained on her side for balance.
Something about the fact that I had woken up beside him—and the fact that he was laying on top of me—had shifted something inside me, prompted me out of my shell. I kissed him back with surprising vigour, even going to far as to gently bite down on his lower lip.
Gray’s POV:
I was shocked, to say the least, and the force she kissed me back with. I didn’t expect her to do that—not really. When she took my lower lip between her teeth, I let out a deep growl.
Pulling away slightly, I adjusted our position to be more comfortable before colliding our lips together again, this time trailing my tongue across her mouth.
It took everything I had to not melt against the mattress and retain my last shred of composure, pushing my hands into his hair despite the fact that I was internally begging him to pin them down above my head.
“Gray…” I murmured, letting my mouth fall open for him…. what could I say? I had never met anyone so utterly addicting.
Gray’s POV:
It was a miracle I didn’t go insane the second she called out my name. God, kissing her was addicting. She was like a drug I could never stop injecting. Every time I pulled back, I wanted to go in for more. Every time.
She threaded her fingers in my hair, tugging on it, and I responded by pushing harder against her, taking her lips in my teeth and pulling on them gently. Enough to leave a sting, but not a bruise. She opened her mouth for me and I gladly accepted her invitation like a baby duck blindly following its mother.
I let a quiet, tentative moan slip from my mouth, which I opened wider to receive him, tugging him closer against me. “Gray…” I said again, a plea for him to be rougher with me.
