Another faint whimper. It seemed to come from the bushes near Alex’s fence.

Deleted user

The bushes rustled as she approached, but instead of the person moving out and away, a gasp of pain could be heard.

Deleted user

Whatever was in the bushes seemed to hold their breath. The underbrush paused in movement.

(Wait a moment I just realized something. Darn it.

Okay so how long has Autumn and Alex been dating?)

Deleted user

(Okay so I kinda wanted to introduce a smol into their lives so that it prompts Alex to marry her cuz smol reasons

I dunno I just got bored and did the first thing I could think of)

Deleted user

(Well, no, not adopt, but like, find, take in and-

Yeah adopt lmao)

(Yeah I was thinking girl too. And I was thinking she was like, kidnapped, but she jumped out of the truck, fled and climbed up a few things then fell? So she’s hurt and scared?)

Deleted user

(Ohohoh let’s say the person who kidnapped her broke into her home, killed her parents in a fight for her and THEN took her.)

Deleted user

(Neat. Yes I will.)

Whatever was in the bushes just shifted and gasped in pain again. It stirred meekly against the ground, and even that prompted a flash of pain and a groan.

Deleted user

There was a faint shifting as they tried to press away from her. It prompted a little outburst of tears from the pain.

@Imperfect_Autumn group

Autumn chewed on her lip for a moment before daring to push the bushes away so she could see. She held back a gasp of shock and pressed a hand to her mouth.

It was a little girl… And she looked so beaten and bruised…

"Oh my gosh… Honey, let me help you, please," she practically begged the girl. "Come on…"

(How old are we saying?)

Deleted user

(Ten at minimum, eleven, twelve at most. Your choice.)

The little girl’s pale and slack face had streaks of blood on it that didn’t seem to be hers. Her eyes were overbright, but somehow dulled at the same time. She shifted the best she could away from Autumn, her eyes trained on Autumn’s face and away from the light. Her eyes were a pale gray and her hair was so dirty Autumn couldn’t tell a color.
