Alex nodded. “Then maybe fall asleep.”

“Hm… Maybe…” Autumn hummed, nuzzling him again.

Alex snuggled and nuzzled her back. “We will.”

“Maybe,” Autumn chuckled.

Alex laughed softly. “We definitely will.”

“Okay, we probably will,” Autumn gave in with a grin.

Alex grinned back. “We definitely will.”

“Not if I get up and go hide!” Autumn laughed. “Then you’d have to find me!”

Alex squeezed her closer. “You’ll never run! You’re mine!”

“I bet I could get away,” Autumn chuckled, wriggling slightly.

Alex rolled his eyes and squished her closer. “Nope. Mine.”

“I may be yours, but I’m still good at getting out of things!” Autumn laughed as she slipped out of his arms.

Alex giggled and pressed her down onto the couch with his weight when she wiggled off.
“You are, huh?”

“Hey! No fair!” Autumn laughed as she was squished.

Alex laughed and covered her face in kisses. “Get out of it! You said you could escape from anything.”

“Just because I can, doesn’t mean I should!” Autumn giggled. “I don’t want to hurt you.”

Alex giggled with her. “You won’t hurt me.”

“I would t be too sure about that. Just because I know how to get out of things, doesn’t mean I should use the methods I know,” Autumn explained with a shrug.

Alex grunted, finally understanding what she meant. “Right. I should’ve realized.”

“It’s okay, babe. A lot of stuff comes with my career,” Autumn said softly, shrugging a bit.

Alex kissed her and nuzzled into her neck. “You should teach me sometime.”

“A lot of it revolves around my being a girl, so… it might be a bit difficult to teach you those things. I suppose I could teach you the other ones though,” Autumn mused, burying her face in his hair.

Alex let her snuggle into his hair. “Just something would be nice. I don’t really mind what it is.”

Mm… He smells good… Autumn hummed for a moment, letting her eyes flutter shut as she breathed him in.

“All right. Sure,” she murmured into his hair.

Alex smiled and hugged her close. “Thanks baby. I love you.”
