“I don’t wanna choose the wrong thing!” Alex protested.
“I don’t wanna choose the wrong thing!” Alex protested.
"I doubt that you will, babe. Unless, of course, you pick a cow," Autumn said, making a face at the thought. "That would not be a good choice."
Alex grinned. “I’m gonna find a cow.” He went to the rack and started looking.
"Alex! No! I thought you wanted to pick a good one!" Autumn exclaimed, trying to get between him and the rack.
Alex bapped her as gently as possible on the head. “I’ma find you a cow, since it’s up to me!”
"I said no cows, though!" Autumn declared, managing to get under one of his arms. She was now between him and the rack, his arms on either side of her.
Alex stretched over her to continue looking. “Exactly!”
"Alex. Please. No cows," Autumn begged, sticking her bottom lip out at him.
“Oh hey look! This one’s perfect.” He tugged on a onesie.
"It'd better not be a cow," Autumn muttered without turning to look at it.
“Ooh it’s not.” Alex tugged it off, grinning.
"Why do you sound evilly pleased with yourself, then?" Autumn asked, raising an eyebrow at him.
“Just look at it!” Alex exclaimed.
"Ugh, fine," Autumn sighed, turning in his arms to look at the onesie.
It was a fluffy pig onesie that was light pink. It even had a pig-nose and ears.
(I'm back!)
"Okay, that's adorable," Autumn chuckled. "Good choice."
(Yaaaaaaay!)
Alex gave it to her. “If there’s a matching male one, we’re getting it, too.”
"I'm totally down for that," Autumn agreed with a nod.
Alex folded it and set it in the cart. “Alright, let’s go!”
"Yes, let's!" Autumn agreed, starting toward the other section.
Alex followed her and soon the pair reached the other side. Alex looked around. “Hmmm… they should be over in the PJ section.”
"Probably. That's…" Autumn walked over to it. "Right here."
Alex followed her and spotted the onesies. “Aha! He left the cart and walked over. So a pig and a……”
"Panda. Please tell me they have one here," Autumn murmured, glancing over them.
Alex nodded and looked away. “Right right. Panda.”
