"I'm not sure, exactly. Something cute," Autumn said as she looked through them.
"I'm not sure, exactly. Something cute," Autumn said as she looked through them.
Alex looked at the onesies as she browsed, humming softly and thrumming his fingers. He leaned onto Autumn as she looked through.
"What about a panda?" Autumn asked, pulling out a black-and-white onesie and holding it up for Alex to see.
Alex smiled. “That's cute. Is it your size?”
"Um…" Autumn checked the tag and frowned before putting it back. She shuffled through the other to find a different one. "It was too small, but they should have a bigger one here… Somewhere."
Alex watched her search, feeling anxious. He liked the panda one. He then wondered if there was a panda one for men.
"Ah-ha! Found one," Autumn exclaimed, pulling it out with a grin. "Should we go check the men's for a match, now?"
Alex grinned and leaned off of her. “Sure! Do you want another pair, though?”
"For what? I like this one," Autumn said with a shrug.
“Just in case laundry day comes along and you have nothing else to wear.” Alex grinned.
"I don't think it'll get to that point," Autumn chuckled. She grabbed Alex's hand and tugged on it, moving toward the men's clothes. "C'mon, let's go look for yours."
Alex made a soft noise. “What if you doooo?”
"Are you going to pay for it?" Autumn asked, raising an eyebrow at him.
“Of course I would,” Alex responded breezily, smiling.
"Hm…" Autumn hummed, her gaze trailing back to the rack as she thought about it. "Okay, fine. You should help me pick it out, though."
Alex cheered and steered back over to the onesies. “You pick which one you want.”
"But you have to help me!" Autumn declared, glancing over the racks again.
“No I don’t!” Alex protested, crossing his arms.
"Then I'm not picking another one out," Autumn said, crossing her own arms over her chest and looking at him challengingly.
Alex rolled his eyes. “But I’m paying for it!”
"Which is one reason you should help pick it out," Autumn said with a smile.
“But you’re gonna be wearing it,” Alex countered, grinning back.
"And I'll let you know if I don't like it," Autumn informed him. "That way, you can pick a different one."
“But… no. Just pick one you like and I’ll buy it.”
"But I want you to help me," Autumn said, pouting at him.
