Alex huffed and let her down. “Fine. Finnneeee.”
Alex huffed and let her down. “Fine. Finnneeee.”
Autumn took a deep breath, closing her eyes tight for a moment. "Okay… It's okay," she breathed, speaking more to herself than Alex.
Alex leaned into her. “Yes, it’s okay, babe. Sorry.”
"It's fine. You didn't know," Autumn sighed, opening her eyes and giving him a small smile. She turned back to the chocolates and continued her search. "Mm… Hershey's chocolate sounds really good right now…"
Alex grunted and half-closed his eyes. She was so comfy and warm…
"Alex. Seriously? Don't fall asleep on me here. Wait until we get back to your place," Autumn said, pushing him off of her as she rolled her eyes.
Alex stumbled back a little and shook his head. “But you’re comfy!”
"Just because you find me comfy, doesn't mean you can just fall asleep on me in the middle of the store," Autum sighed, shaking her head and grabbing a couple of handfuls of chocolate bars to toss into the cart.
Alex yawned. “Who cares, honestly? It’s Walmart.”
"I care simply because the faster we get done, the sooner we can leave, and the sooner we leave, the sooner we can lay back in bed," Autumn explained, steering Alex and the cart toward the check out area.
Alex hummed. “Good point.” He let himself be dragged, his eyes drooping.
"Alex, maybe you should drink some of that coffee now," Autumn teased as she pulled the cart up to a line.
Alex leaned into her happily. “Nah… sleep.” He wanted to just fall asleep there and then.
"Off, you goof. Wait until we're at your house," Autumn said, shaking her head as she gently pushed him off of herself.
Alex hummed unhappily and wrapped his arms around her. “I’ll just hug you!”
Autumn sighed and kissed his cheek. "Fine. But don't forget you're paying."
Alex nuzzled her cheek back. “I won’t~!”
"Good," Autumn said, smiling at the attention. She leaned back into his embrace, looking up at him.
Alex squished his face into hers, smiling too. “I love you.”
"I love you, too," Autumn chuckled, moving so that their lips brushed together softly.
Alex let her go, smiling. “A little kiss is all I wanted, dear.”
(I kinda wanna see what’s up with J and Kayla. Maybe he gives her a surprise visit?)
(Sure. It's up to you.)
"You could've just asked," Autumn said, shaking her head with a smile.
(That’d be cool? Wanna shift over now?)
Alex laughed a little. “I know. I was too distracted by your beauty.”
(If you want to. Lol. You'll have to start it, though.)
Autumn snorted and rolled her eyes, blushing slightly. "Sure you were…"
(Yep!)
J finally arrived at the tiny town. He put his windows up once he reached the house that was his destination, took the keys out of ignition and rose out of the car. He shook out his windswept hair and fixed his shirt, shutting his car’s door. He smiled and approached the home’s door, ringing the doorbell.
