"All right. I'm actually okay with that," Autumn said with a shrug, smiling over at him for a moment before turning her attention back to walking.
"All right. I'm actually okay with that," Autumn said with a shrug, smiling over at him for a moment before turning her attention back to walking.
Alex smiled back happily and walked in-step with her. “Are you doing okay otherwise? Movie go okay?”
"I'm good, yeah. And the movie actually went great," Autumn said, grinning as they walked. "Hey, I get a plus-one to see it when they've finished editing it, do you want to come with me?"
Alex beamed and looked at her, suddenly bouncing on his feet. “Of course I do!”
"Awesome! I'm not sure when they'll finish, but it should be in a few months, max," Autumn chuckled. "I'm excited to see it, actually."
Alex continued bouncing happily on his way out of the airport. “I can’t wait to see it anyway.”
"I told you what it's about, right?" Autumn asked, glancing over at him.
Alex grinned at her. “You’re in it?” If she told him, he didn’t remember.
"Of course I'm in it," Autumn chuckled. "It's based off of the book The Princess's Escape, which is about a princess – obviously – who has to escape a bunch of trials and such to get back home. It's much more interesting than it sounds, I promise."
Alex grinned. “That sounds awesome. I should give the book a few reads.” He nudged into her again. “Just to see how accurate you got it.”
"Hey, I'm not the one who wrote the script, so don't blame me for any differences," Autumn chuckled.
Alex chuckled too. “I’ll blame you anyway. Just to pass on some critiques.”
"Wow, thanks. I feel so loved," Autumn joked.
Alex laughed and kissed her forehead, missing his mark for her nose. “It’s a lovely relationship we have.”
"Mmhm. It sure is," Autumn hummed with a light laugh.
Alex laughed happily. “It absolutely is!”
"Where's your car? I'm about ready to fall asleep right here," Autumn chuckled.
Alex chuckled. “Then let me carry you!” He somehow lifted her up into a bridal carry.
"Alex!" Autumn gasped. "Put me down, would you?"
Alex shook his head and confidently walked to his car. “No more walking for you.”
"I can walk fine!" Autumn laughed.
Alex shook his head and almost smashed into a pole. “Nope! No more!”
"You're going to get us both hurt!" Autumn teased, poking him in the cheek.
Alex giggled. “I’ll get us both hurt if you poke me again!”
"You should just put me down. I don't want to die this young, thanks," Autumn declared.
