"it's been happening all my life, I'm used to it now so it doesn't matter."
"Well it matters to me. Just because you're used to it doesn't mean I am."
"Well… you might have to get used to it if we stick around here for a while."
"I said my part. Let me try to make peace with it."
Dorian sighed a little and nodded, "As you wish."
She pecked his cheek with a smile. "Don't act so formal. I'm your fiancee, not some aristocrat."
"Sorry, sorry," Dorian wrapped an arm around her shoulders, "It's just how I was brought up."
"I understand that but I know I'll break that at least a little."
He smiled, "Don't worry precious, I know you will."
"Well, now they all know. And no one seemed wholely opposed."
"I honestly thought Edward was going to say something. But luckily he didn't so that's good, I guess."
"That's very good! Come on love, cheer up." She frowned slightly, his lack of any positivity brining her down.
Dorian sighed, though he smiled, nudged her with his hip, "Sorry sorry. do you want to go for a ride, dear?"
She smiled a little and nodded. "Of course! You're starting to learn how I work."
He chuckled, kissing her cheek, "I'm sorry for being so upset, but I think it'll cheer us both up."
"Yeah, I think so too." She laid her head on his shoulder softly.
He held her close, kissing the top of her head as he led her towards the stables, humming softly.
She laid her head on his shoulder, smiling to herself as she walked with him.
Eventually they made it to the stables, the fresh, warm air surrounding them as they entered.
Her smile grew wider, she would never not love going to the stables with the one she loved.
“Any particular horse standing out today?” He asked as he headed towards his own.
"Nope, I'm sticking with Amber." She bounded over to the horse, smiling.
He smiled over at her, heading over to Knox as Fiona headed over to Amber.
She gently pet the horse, glad to be back in her element.
