Dorian couldn’t help but stay bright red as he watched her go, a grin permanently plastered on his face as he spent the rest of the evening with his sisters. His father later on asked him who that girl was and what she was to him in which Dorian avoided the quesion and left him alone.
She couldn't ignore the butterflies in her stomach for the rest of the night even if she wanted to. She'd now given her first kiss to a boy she'd literally only met that night but it felt so wonderful.
Dorian stayed awake late into the evening and into the early hours of the morning, not unusual for him but only this time his mind wasn’t full of stress and work, it was on Fiona. One day, he’d known her for not even a day and she’d already wormed her way into her mind and stuck.
Late nights were her thing, so her staying up until this ungodly hour wasn't unusual for her. But rather than being stuck on a chapter or writer's block, it was on Dorian. His lips had been so soft and inviting, if only she could've felt them for a little bit longer. She shook her thoughts away, blushing red. How embarrassing.
“Dorian, Dorian!” The soft yet somehow loud voice of the twins came rushing to his ears as he sat up in bed and the to girls came jumping up onto his bed, “Who was that girl you were with last night?” One if then, Isabella asked.
“Just a new friend.” He replied, grinning at them.
“Come ooooon.” The other, Elizabeth whined.
“Nope, won’t tell you.l!
"So…you want to explain what we watched last night?" Mark's calm yet protective voice filtered into her ears. "Yes, it's not every nice you witness your younger sister kiss someone she just met that night." James's voice sounded the same. "He deserved it." She shrugged.
“Bella, Lizzy, no matter how much you perester me, you’ll have to wait utnik she comes over again,” Dorian replied calmly.
The girls squealed in excitement, “Really? She’s coming over again?” Isbella asked.
“Yes Bella, hopefully.”
Her brother's opened their mouths to argue but we're cut off by a knock at her door. "Excuse me boys, but I'd like to speak to my daughter." Her father chuckled. "Yes father." They mumbled in unison, embarrassed. They quickly left, leaving Fiona and her dad alone. "So, my dear Fiona. I was told you kissed the Earl's son?" "Well, the younger one." "As expected. You see, the Earl found it quite interesting that his son shows such interest in a girl he just met and is offering for you two to meet again later this afternoon."
“She’s actually, coming over later today,” Dorian’s older brother spoke from the door way.
Dorian looked up from his sisters to his brother and even though he was happy, he didn’t want to see Edward’s face in his space.
“Thanks for letting my now, Edward.”
"Oh that sounds lovely!" She smiled brightly. Her father returned her smile. "Wonderful! Now you finish your morning work and get dressed, I'll send a message to let him know you're coming."
(Anyone who says late nights with no school the next day isn't for binge-watching shows is a liar.)
(Aw this is so cute! Mind if I stalk?)
(Lmao, true and I don't mind a stalker)
Edward just shrugged and turned away, leaving his sibling alone. Dorian sighed and turned to his sisters, "Well, I'd better get ready, and so should you two if you want to meet her."
The twins nodded and rushed off, causing Dorian to chuckle.
(Please do!)
The day seemed to fly by until it was time for her to go. She approached the manor door almost hesitantly. This was a very important family and now she had to face them alone. But she'd have Dorian, she'd be fine. She relaxed and smiled, knocking on the door.
An elderly woman answered the door with a smile, opening the door wide for Fiona, "Good afternoon, Lady," She curtsied politely, "You're here to see Master Dorian, correct?"
She curtsied in response. "That I am. Is he home?" Her voice was quiet, she really didn't like talking to new people.
"Why yes, he's-"
"Bella! Lizzy! Bring me my glasses I need them to see!" Two giggling girl came running round the corner, followed by Dorian who was trying to look mad. Key word, trying. The two girls hid behind Fiona and Dorian skidded to a halt.
"Fiona! Welcome back," He grinned at her before placing his hands on his hips, looking like an annoyed mother, "Give. them. back."
"No!" They said in unison.
She couldn't help but giggle. "Hello Dorian. Having little sister problems? I have two of my own, I know the feeling." She twisted to look at the younger girls behind her.
The two younger girls looked like spitting images of Dorian, only one of them had one blue eyes and one brown eyes, "Fiona, meet my sisters, Isabella," The one with two blue eyes waved, "And Elizabeth," the other waved, "They've been wanting to meet you."
She smiled a little and waved at the two. "Well hello." She turned her attention back to their brother. "Right, can I come in or am I just going to stand here?"
"Right, yes sorry," Dorian gave the two girl a look and they came back to him, Isabella handing over his glasses with a little giggle, "Please, follow me."
She shook her head with a smile before following him in, quickly kissing his cheek as a small greeting before glancing away. "I didn't actually expect to see you so soon after last night."
Dorian chuckled, slipping the pair of black rimmed glasses on his face, "I did. Maybe not as soon as this but I did expect to see you soon."
"I didn't know you wore glasses." She glanced at him out of the corner of her eye. "You look cute with them on."
Dorian blushed and looked down at his feet, "I only wear them sometimes, generally when I've been awake all evening and my eyes are tired… or when I'm working." He shrugged.
