Soren sat against a tree trunk, panting heavily, the sword from Arthur at his side. A huge grin graced his lips. I'm getting better, and it's all thanks to Arthur.
He stared at the other boy, who was equally as tired as him. "Hey.. I didn't hurt you too much right?"
"Nah, though you did give me a run for my money" said Arthur, tired from their duel.
(Sorry! My baby sister was playing baby games on my phone and called my grandma! XD)
"That's good, right?" Soren looked hopeful. It had been a struggle to do what he had, and didn't think he was going to be able to push himself that far again. "You're a great tutor."
"Considering all the actual fights I've been in the fact that you had me gasping for breath is a good sign" he said, laughing tiredly.
"Are you okay? Do you want me to get you a drink?" Soren scrambled to his feet, making his way over to Arthur.
"Just tired" said Arthur "Been awhile since someone surprised me like that. No offense but I wasn't expecting that kind of skill from you."
"Uhm.. None taken, I think.." Soren smiled sheepishly. "It's thanks to you though.."
Arthur grinned, "Tis what I do" he said shifting so he was lying on the ground.
(Slight poke cause I'm bored and I know we're both on…)
(Ah sorry, I'm about to leave college in 20 mins so i wont be online for like 2 hours)
(Shall we maybe let some gayness happen?)
(Can do from me! Who's starting it?)
(You pls)
(Alrighty)
Soren looked down at Arthur, softly half-smiling. He glanced around them, at the emptiness of the dark forest, before gazing back down at Arthur. "Would you mind if I join you down there?"
"Be my guest" said Arthur absentmindedly, a bit too tired to think straight.
Soren slowly laid down next to Arthur, turning onto his side to look at the boy. "Thank you, for everything you've done for me."
He watched he shadow creature clamber onto Arthur's chest, and frowned as it hugged him. It's like he can read my thoughts..
Arthur shooed the creature off of him, causing it to vanish. "Anytime Soren" said Arthur turning to smile at him.
Soren glanced at where the shadow had been, then at Arthur. "Was he bothering you? If so I can make him leave you alone completely as soon as the sun rises."
"nah" said Arthur, "he's adorable, and I love having him around." He grinned as the small creature reappeared on his head.
Soren smiled sheepishly and shook his head. "He loves being around you too." As do I…
"So.. I guess we've been locked outside again" said Arthur looking up as the last rays of sunlight disappeared, the tiny shadow critter getting up and vanishing.
"It would seem that way, yeah." Soren grinned and lightly chuckled. "But it's not that bad right? I only apologise that it's me who you're stuck with."
"I don't know about that" said Arthur. "I think you're very nice company."
"If you say so." Soren hesitated, and silently sighed before speaking again. "You're not terrible to be around yourself.."
