I'm sorry, I picked a weird timing, but I wanted to get it out of the way sooner rather than never say it at all.
He closed the connection and slowly laid back on the ground with a soft smile. "Want me to let go now?" he indicated to his tail.
"No" said Arthur, relaxing and following Soren's movements, genuinely liking the weight of it there. "Honestly any kind of timing would be weird…." he looked down, trying to control his bright red face.
"Yes, I suppose so." Soren chuckled lightly, gently ruffling Arthur's hair. He turned his head, watching the sun fall behind the trees. The sky was a vibrant crimson hue, with splashes of orange and yellow. "It's beautiful at dusk.. So many beautiful colours."
Arthur nodded, carefully looking around. before turning back to study Soren, who was lying beneath him.
Soren grinned brightly as he watched small clouds float through the sky. He had no idea that Arthur was looking at him.
Arthur leaned in a little closer, but stayed back shyly, I wonder what might happen if I….. he tore his thoughts away as he went even (If it was possible) and even brighter shade of scarlet.
Soren slowly turned back to Arthur, noticing that the boy had moved a little. He didn't question it, he feared that Arthur was going to die from excessive blushing.
Arthur finally pulled back, pulling away to attempt to flop on the grass, loosening Soren's tail a little he did just that, immediately burying his face in his hands.
Soren sat up, running his hands through his hair as he stared at Arthur's back. Woah.. I hope he's okay.
(Oof I'm going to have to pause this sweetie, I just passed out then)
(A'ight lets make a mess of this then!)
"Perhaps you're dehydrated," Soren shrugged, picking himself up off the floor. "We've been active pretty much the entire day and I haven't seen you drink once. Lets take a break, grab some water, and figure out our next course of action."
"I dont think its that….." said Arthur quietly, getting to his feet. "But that sounds like a good idea anyway." He said, following Soren inside, grateful that his blushing had subsided a ton when he changed the subject.
(Messy RPs be the best Rps)
They made their way to the kitchen, grabbing a glass of water each. As Soren sipped on his drink he glanced at Arthur. He knew exactly why the boy was blushing, but didn't have the heart to question him.
I am very curious about him, there is still a lot more left to learn about who he is and how he works..
Arthur drank his quietly, lost in rhought as he considered the past few events.
what I wouldn't give to have my advisor back… he thought, still grateful that the annoting spirit was out of commission.
(Good Morning! I hope you actually slept a little last night!)
(I'm going to keep periodically bumping this cause it's an awesome RP)
(Hey! I've just got home from worrrrrk)
Soren left his cup on the sideboard, making his way for the door, leaving the kitchen. "I'm going to try and stop myself from holding back." he explained, "But I don't want to end up doing any serious damage to you."
(Yay!!!!!!)
Arthur placed his next to Soren's, shrugging. "I already told you. Don't worry about it." Said Arthur, "I can, and have, taken on waayy worse than you. If you push me past my limit I'll tell you."
"Alright, sounds good to me."
They made their way back to the clearing, the sun almost fully set behind the trees. "Okay!" he said, turning to Arthur. "We don't have a lot of time left, so if I am going to be using the shadows for this next fight then please speak now or forever hold your peace."
Arthur pulled out an actual dagger to fight this time, and nodded to Soren. "Either way is fine. Just co.e at me any way you can."
Soren scowled at the blade. He never carried around an actual weapon,, and so had nothing to defend himself with. "I'm going to use my shadow blade for as long as it lasts."
