Jared gave Crystal a small smile back. He looked at Tangerine as he packed up. "Well…" He hesitated, then checked the front of his notebook. "History." He replied with a tight smile. History was both his favorite and least favorite subject.
"Oh… I have gym next… but I can tell you where the history classroom is." She stood up and put her backpack on one of her shoulders. "It's actually the room to the right and across the hall. I have to go so I'm not late for class. Bye-bye!"
Jared smiled. "Alright. Thank you!" He called after her. He put his backpack on, and followed her directions, finding the class and picking a seat.
Planning on talking to Jared, but a little dissapointed when the watermelon stood up blocking her way.
(she forgot her name, now shes just gonna call her a whole bunch of types of food lol)
"thats……thats okay, um….imma just…go then"
She mumbles to herself as she swiftly walks out of the classroom.
Jared got his supplies out, getting ready for class. He raked a hand through his hair, sighing softly. Great. Another history class. It was in history class that he had had a breakdown, when they watched a video full of explosions and gunfire. Those two sounds, at a loud volume…he had heard it a lot during his year kidnapped. It always made him collapse.
Tangerine got to the gym and went to the locker room and changed into her P.E. clothes. She loved P.E., it was her favorite class. She got to be active and have fun, for a grade! She stretched while waiting for class to start.
Jared sighed softly, and waited for class to begin. It was ancient history right now. He would be fine. He had to be. He couldn't afford to lose focus.
(I forgot i have two Russian girls lol)
Walking through the halls, chemistry was the next one after Spanish class, which she signed up for fun. She only knew English and Russian, which her mom forced her to kearn since it was "tradition" but you know what Crystal said to that.
traditions just peer pressure from dead people
(Hey, Jared and Crystal should have chemistry together (maybe try to get that triangle going ;)
(That is a great idea, my friend)
(yuss! Want me to timeskip? Tho I gtg soon for bed)
As P.E. started, Tangerine thought about Jared and Crystal. She was glad they talked to her, she would have honestly not even tried to talk to anyone if they hadn't. Of course, she was running or stretching or literally anything, alone. None of her previous 'friends' were in that class and, obviously, Crystal or Jared wasn't in that class with her.
After History, it was Chemistry. Jared headed for the classroom, only barely making it in before class started, sitting down in one of the last seats. He hurriedly pulled things out of his bag, hair messy.
P.E. was a double class, for her at least. Some people stayed, while others left for other classes. Tangerine was very glad that this class was her double hour. (I don't think it's a real thing but why not make it one lol)
Walking into class a little late as her brother stopped to pester her again. Chemistry, great…..
Walking into the room, a little sigh and an eye roll were let out as she walked to the only open seat…right next to Jared. Not really talking to him, she gets out a mini notebook, writing down random things in Russian.
Jared glanced over, and a tiny smile flickered across his face. "Hey, Crystal." He said softly, giving her a tiny wave with the end of his pencil.
"Oh…hey"
She says faking a little smile, as she assumed he was doing as well. He didn't seem to really like her much, so she wasnt going to push it.
Jared glanced back down at his paper, smile slipping away. He was pretty good at telling when someone's smile was fake. Hers was. He should have known she wouldn't like him. Should have known she was just being polite at lunch.
"Hey….what's that for?"
She says looking back up at him l, the corner of her mouth curving up a little as her hand held her head up with her elbow in the long desk they shared.
He glanced up. "Hm? What?" He asked, looking over at her with raised eyebrows.
"You looked sad just then….i liked that smile…"
She says poking his nose with the tip of her pen that had a little bunny eraser of it.
"You should smile more"
He says looking up at him with her mismatched eyes that she hated oh so much. Her curly hair falling in her face and over shoulders a little.
Jared raised an eyebrow. "Hm." He replied. "I don't smile that much. For…personal reasons." That she could probably guess pretty easily, admittedly.
"Hmm….its cute though."
She says looking down at her bunny tipped pencil.
