"Whatever you feel like." He dropped a bag of coffee grounds and swore under his breath. "Lucky it wasn't open."
"Whatever you feel like." He dropped a bag of coffee grounds and swore under his breath. "Lucky it wasn't open."
Cas grabbed some eggs from the fridge and cracked them into the pan with one hand while he looked around for a spatula. He found one and picked it up, ready to flip the eggs when they were ready.
Ashley watched him, intrigued. He sat at the bench and rested his head in his hands, a slight grin on his face.
Cas twirled the spatula between his fingers while he waited, humming softly to himself. "How do you like your eggs cooked?"
"Whatever's easiest for you." Ashley snapped back to reality and busied himself making coffee.
He nodded and flipped the eggs, bringing them over when they were done. "They're just fried." He said, putting the eggs onto the plate. "And I hope you like things mildly spicy, because I like to put a bit of chili powder into my eggs along with the salt and pepper."
"Spicy is fine!" He flounced over and placed two mugs of coffee down on the bench. "This one is mine" He pointed to the full mug. The other was about a quarter full.
"Alrighty." Cas eyed the coffee warily and took a bite of his eggs.
Ashley ate his eggs in silence. He took sips of coffee between bites and shot quick glances at Cas.
After he'd finished his food, he took a tentative sip of the coffee and shivered. "Ugh… it doesn't taste very good.."
Ashley chuckled. "Sorry. You don't have to drink it if you don't want to."
"Is it supposed to be really bitter…?" He asked quietly, looking into the cup.
"Um yeah. I think so. Depends on how much milk you put in I suppose." Ashley said, swirling his own cup around before downing all that was left.
Cas shrugged and pushed the cup away, sitting for a second before he took his dishes to the sink to wash them.
"You don't have to wash them!" Ashley said, jumping up and darting to the sink to wash his own and to try and get the plate back from Cas.
"Why not? It's important to keep dishes clean." Cas replied, seeming confused.
"I can do it." Ashley said. "It is my house."
"Er, if you insist, I suppose?" He stepped away, still a bit confused, but allowing Ashley to take over.
Ashley quickly finished washing up and turned to Cas. "So. What do you want to do now?" He asked.
Cas shrugged. "Maybe get to know each other better? I mean, you know who I am, but I barely know you."
"I guess not." He showed Cas into the lounge and took a seat on the sofa. "How do you want to go about this?"
"Er… I dunno." Cas shrugged. "I didn't think this far ahead. Um… what do you like to do in your free time?"
"Uhh not much honestly. I like looking at old and enchanted items I guess. Trying to uncurse stuff is fun." Ashley shrugged (So sorry for the late answer school got in the way)
(No problem)
Cas nodded. "I don't generally have a lot of free time… I spend most of my time beating people up, honestly."
Ashley laughed. "Probably shouldn't find that funny."
