(M hastily: I wasn’t saying I didn’t like it!)

M nodded a bit, grabbing his shirt and jacket. β€œI’ll be out in a second.” He smiled a bit in response, putting on his shirt again.

β€œOkay,” M called back softly, fitting his jacket carefully over his arms. He turned to the shirts his wife selected, nosing through them intently. He found a couple whiteish-blue ones he liked but with a different style of shirt. He decided he’d give those a try. He grabbed all of the whites and to throw change in the wind, a black one.

M walked softly from the dressing rooms, glancing around for Alison. He spotted her a bit away and bobbed over, nudging her when he reached her side.
β€œI am ready.”

M grinned faintly and glanced over at the desk. β€œOh. Here.” He lifted each of them up, a good portion of them stringed on his long fingers.

M smiled a bit, putting them back together. β€œThank you. Should we go up, then?”

Alison nodded and smiled up at him. β€œWe should, yes. The sooner we get this done, the sooner we can get home, right?” she said as she started toward the front desk.

Graci laughed softly with him, her eyes half-closed in her amusement. β€œYou are being nice. But alas, you are wrong.” She winked at him.

Jericho dared not guess again. There were very few rules that he would break when it came to women. This was not one of them. "Why don't you just tell me, my lady?" He said leaning towards her and letting a seductive smile trace along his features.

M started after her intently, shifting his shoulders around as they walked. He didn’t want to meet up with that suspicious cashier guy at the front. But as they neared the desk, he knew, unfortunately, he’d have to deal with him.

Graci didn’t move back away from Jericho. She seemed to be mildly interested in him instead.
β€œHmmm… I don’t think you’d like it if I did.”

He leaned a bit closer instead, his eyes heavy lidded as he stared deeply into her own. "Why's that?" Jericho asked.

Graci set her cup down, leaning forward just a smidge so their noses were touching.
β€œMmm… I’m quite old…”

Jericho almost jerked back at the sudden touch. The zing that traveled from her body to his was powerful enough to knock anyone to their knees, but he stayed where he was. The only reaction he allowed was a slight widening of his eyes. "Aren't we all?" he murmured. He knew that if he spoke any louder his voice would have broken.

Alison reaches the desk and glanced around for someone to help them. Not seeing anyone, she glanced down at the desk and looked for a bell. Of course there wasn’t one…

β€œExcuse me,” she called, glancing around again. Maybe there was someone nearby that could help.

Graci smiled warmly at his dilemma. She could smell the emotions coming from them like a burning piece of plastic…
β€œNot quite as old as I.”

M frowned a bit and looked around. He had a bad feeling about having his back turned away from the sales floor. What if something happened again?

Well, he was right to worry. This time that salesclerk had snuck up on him and poked him.

M jumped like, ten feet in the air with a yelp, turning to the clerk.

Alison spun around at M’s yelp and saw the salesclerk behind him. She chuckled a bit and looked back at her husband with an amused smile.

β€œHi. We have my husband’s measurements and choices all ready,” she told the man, giving him a polite smile.

M scooted behind his wife, easily looking over her head, though he was trying to hide behind her.

The saleclerk laughed softly and accepted his things. β€œWonderful! We’ll have your shirts in as soon as we can.”

The salesclerk shook his head. β€œNah. We’ll reach y’all somehow.”

M put his hands together nervously. β€œYes, Alison, I am. Should we go back home?”

M smiled a bit, twiddling his thumbs. β€œThat sounds nice, going out. Where should we go?”
