Bryn nodded with a bright smile. "You bet your ass it is, Sebastian," he teased, leaning in for a longer, sweeter kiss. "If you can find any weakness, I'll do whatever you want for a week."
Bryn nodded with a bright smile. "You bet your ass it is, Sebastian," he teased, leaning in for a longer, sweeter kiss. "If you can find any weakness, I'll do whatever you want for a week."
Sebastian enjoyed the kiss, smiling. At the last part, though-
"Wait, an entire week? You're so on." He giggled, not mentioning that they were pretty much doing everything he wanted to anyway. Just being together, spending the time to do things like this. Even with Sebastian completely ignoring his homework.
Bryn grinned, settling a bit in Sebastian's lap. "Oh yeah! But if you can't find one by…" He hummed trying to think of a good deadline. "If you can't find one by next Friday, you have to do whatever I want!"
"Deal," Sebastian said. "You're going to make this really hard on me, aren't you?" He chuckled. He didn't have much time to find a weakness; he'd have to get cracking soon if he wanted to win.
"Deal!" Bryn kissed him to cement the agreement, a competitive glint in his eye as he pulled away. "And of course I'm gonna make this hard for you. You think I'm gonna give up the chance to order you around for a week?"
"Obviously not." Sebastian smiled, looking just as competitive. He wasn't going to start today though; he'd much rather just cuddle for now. Still, he had an idea for what he would try first, and it wasn't going to be tickling.
"Good!" Bryn squirmed a little in his lap, getting comfortable. "Let's snuggle now, lay down so we can pull up the blankets."
Sebastian smiled, easily complying. He scooted down, pulling Bryn down with him and pulling the giant fluffy blanket up around them.
"Better?" He asked, snuggling closer with a happy sigh.
Bryn nodded happily, curling up against Sebastian's chest and yanking the blankets tight around them. He was pretty sure Sebastian had the most comfortable bed in the world, made all the better by the way his human held him close. "Much. What time is it?"
Glancing up, Sebastian looked at the clock before turning his attention back to Bryn.
"Five o three," he said simply, resting his head against Bryn's. To early to think about sleep, but not quite late enough to think about eating dinner.
Bryn hummed, scooching closer. "The nothing hour. We're s'posed to wail 'til 6 for dinner and then sleep, right?" Humans were very pedantic about when you could eat and sleep, probably because they had to do things like work and go to school.
"Yeah," Sebastian said, giving a contented sigh. "I suppose we'll just have to figure out how to spend an entire hour alone." Sebastian has a few ideas, and not all of them were just laying in bed together. He wanted to know just how much Bryn knew about the different parts of human lives.
Bryn laughed, nuzzling his way into the crook of Sebastian's neck. "Easy. I could spend a week just sitting with you and not be bored. D'you have anything in mind?"
"Mm, depends." Sebastian thought on his to word this carefully. "What do you think of watching a movie?"
"A movie?" Bryn pursed his lips, trying to remember where he'd heard the word before. It was familiar. Something you left the house for, his old master had gone a few times and left Bryn blissfully alone for a few hours. Probably not too long, but long enough that they'd have to wait to eat. "Will we miss dinner?"
"No, no missing dinner. We don't even have to leave the room." Sebastian looked at Bryn for a moment, holding him close. He really didn't know what it was like not to be simply used as a toy. Sebastian was definitely going to change that.
"Oh." Bryn snuggled into Sebastian's side, picking up on his somber mood and kissing the underside of his jaw with a soft frown. "You're sad. Will the movie make you feel better?"
"I think so, yes." Not so much the movie itself, but just introducing Bryn to something new. He kissed Bryn's forehead, smiling softly.
Bryn gave him a soft smile back, kissing the tip of his nose. "Then I would like to watch this movie with you. What is it like?"
"Well… It depends on what you want. Do you want something funny, or full of action, dramatic, sad? Perhaps a love story?" Sebastian looked at Bryn. There was so much he was going to share with his demon.
Bryn seemed a little confused at all the variety before he seemed to get it. "Oh! So… it's like a book? Where there's different types of stories and things?"
Sebastian nodded.
"Yeah, like that. There are actually a lot of movies made based on books, but they usually don't have as much detail." Sebastian was actually very torn on how to handle this; assume Bryn knows the base minimum and run the risk of upsetting him, or not explaining things enough and leaving him confused and possibly frustrated?
Bryn nodded back as he absorbed the information. "So… movies are short books? I thought you left the house to see them sometimes, why would you leave just to read a short book? Or… are they different? A movie has to move, right? Is it like… a recording? Like the one you showed me of your mother?"
Sebastian nodded.
"Yeah, it's a lot like the video I showed you of my mom. Movies go for about an hour to an hour and a half, and are like books in that they tell a story. It's taking the mental image you get from reading and trying to make it real."
Bryn grinned, scooting closer enthusiastically now that he mostly understood what a movie was. They sounded fun! A bit strange, but fun. "Oh! That makes sense, so it's like… characters, but they're real? And they're recorded?"
