Bryn laughed, back arching beneath Sebastian's touch as he pressed closer to his chest. "What's there to love? By the time I look like a legal adult you're gonna be a grandparent."
Bryn laughed, back arching beneath Sebastian's touch as he pressed closer to his chest. "What's there to love? By the time I look like a legal adult you're gonna be a grandparent."
"What's so bad about that? It just means you'll have to deal with me getting all wrinkly." Sebastian chuckled, kissing Bryn's nose.
Bryn snickered and kissed Sebastian's cheek. "What a hardship for me. I'm gonna have to take care of you for a long time, aren't I?"
"Depends. Do you want to?" Sebastian smirked. "Think you could handle me for that long?"
"Of course I could." Bryn grinned and kissed him on the lips. "It's a pleasure to be around you, Sebastian. No matter how old you are."
Sebastian smiled at the kiss.
"Well, I'm glad you feel that way, because you're stuck with me." He chuckled.
Bryn snorted and cuddled closer to his chest. "Don't I know it. You're never gonna leave my side either though, so you'd better get used to having me around."
"There's no where else I'd rather be in the world," Sebastian said softly. He kissed Bryn again, one hand going up to play with hair again.
Bryn giggled and kissed him back, breaking away with a purr when Sebastian started messing with his hair. "Good. Good, I love you too much to let you leave."
Sebastian smiled lazily, running his fingers over Bryn's head tenderly.
"And I love you too much to ever think of letting you go."
Bryn pushed back into the touch with a loud purr and a bright smile. "Then I guess we're gonna be together for a long time, yeah?"
"Oh yeah. There's no getting around that." Sebastian grinned, leaning his head back against the headboard and letting out a sigh, eyes closed.
Bryn laughed and kissed him, crawling up into his lap for some more cuddling. "Tell me about your family," he said after a few minutes of silence, bossiness tempered by the smile on his face. "Since you're gonna be having a reunion and all that."
"Okay then," Sebastian opened his eyes, tilting his head back down to look at Bryn.
"Like I said, it's the reunion on my mom's side. She had a pretty small family, just her and her two brothers. One of them moved to… London, I believe? But his daughter stayed here. The other one lives here still, but I don't really get to see much of him. I honestly don't think I've seen him since my mom's funeral. I've got about three cousins, and my grandparents. Everyone else is going to be distantly related, so we won't have to deal with them. I'm… actually really happy to get to see my uncles again." He smiled mutely.
"We were close before the accident."
Bryn nodded along as Sebastian talked about his uncles, smiling brightly when he did and sitting up a little in his lap. "You have to tell me all about them then! Are they nice? How old are they?"
Sebastian thought for a moment, trying to remember with a smile.
"Well, both of them were my mom's older siblings, so… I'm guessing in their late thirties or early forties? I don't remember exactly how old…" He chuckled lightly.
"The uncle who moved to London was really nice. He'd always being me presents from his travels for work. And the other one… We were really close. We'd have long discussions over anything really, and we were both upset whenever my mom interrupted."
(low-key basing his relationship with the old Master with my relationship with my late uncle who was not blood related)
Bryn grinned at that, setting his chin in his hands as he listened. "Reminds me of my friend Magdahlia. She was a greater demon, purer blood than me." He gestures towards his head, drawing the shape of great curling horns. "And we could talk forever about every little thing." He sighed happily at the memories. "She was like the sister I never got. I wish she could've met you too."
Sebastian listened intently, smiling.
"She sounds really nice."
"Oh she was!" Bryn smiled and snuggled closer to his chest. "She was so… above it all. it was like nobody could ever hurt her no matter what happened. But, um, anyways! This was s'posed to be about your family, tell me more about the uncle you grew up with."
Sebastian wrapped his arms around Bryn lightly again, careful of his bruises, as he listened about Bryn's friend. He chuckled softly at the subject change.
"Well, we would always end up spending a lot of time together with my mom, since my dad would go off to work all the time. If I'm being honest, he was more of a dad to me than my dad was."
Bryn pouted softly when Sebastian laughed, leaning forward to kiss him quiet. He settled a bit when he got to hear more about Sebastian's uncle, smiling at the fondness in his voice. "You really love your uncle, don't you? Why don't you see him as much anymore?"
"Well, after mom's funeral, he just kind of… Disappeared from my life. I mean, I know he still lives near here, but we just never seem to have the time to see each other." Sebastian sighed.
"My cousin sees him sometimes, though. She said he's… changed, but she won't say how. I- I know he didn't take my mom's death well."
Bryn hummed, snuggling closer to Sebastian's chest. "That sucks. Have you tried writing to him, calling, anything? know it's hard to deal with personal tragedy, but… he'd probably still want to see you if you were as close as you described."
"He never responded." Sebastian rested his head on Bryn's, eyes closed.
"I just wish I knew why."
Bryn frowned and tilted his head up to kiss Sebastian's jaw. "I'm sorry Sebastian, that must've been… awful. Maybe you can get an answer out of him at the reunion."
