"If the last time they hung out says anything, I say they're probably getting along just fine."
(Shall we rewind and write their night?)
(Sure!)
"Last time they both cried at a lazer tag arena and then cuddled in a care for a few hours, and then they slept together on the couch." Raz thought for a moment and nodded "they'll be just fine." he lissed Jay and snuggled close.
Lo shut the door once the car was out of sight and took in a deep breath, shaking his head with a smile. he turned and wandered back into the living room, settling on the couch with a cup of coffee mocha and a blanket "there's food in the kitchen if you want anything," he said to Jackson
Jackson waved off his offer with a faint smile, curled up at the other end of the couch. "I'm fine. Don't worry about me."
Logan nodded slightly and watched what was on tv for a bit, feeling both anxious and akward at being alone at home with the other. Not in a life-risking way, no. But more of a we-should-talk-but we're-both-nervous-wrecks-around-each-other-to-get-anything-done way. after an hour or so of sitting and drinking his daily dosing of caffine, Logan stood and went to the kitchen to make dinner, hoping Raz left food in the fridge or at least a step-by-step recipe to follow.
Jackson had spent most of his time staring out the window and daydreaming. He snapped out of his daze when Logan walked past, standing and stretching before walking over to the window. "What the-?!" He hadn't noticed the snow until he saw that it was up to the window. "Logan, I don't mean to alarm you but we're snowed in."
He hummed softly in question and walked over to the widow, peeking out through the curtains. "oh yay….I hate snow. Love winter clothing, hate winter." He shook his head and went back to the kitchen "I wonder if Raz and Jay have snow where they're at." he mused, glancing over his shoulder at Jackson
"Doubtful. New Jersey never gets snow. It's probably just really cold." He went back to the couch, stealing the blanket Logan had been using and wrapping it around him tightly.
He finished up his work in the kitchen for now, throwing together a simple lasagna and leaving it in the oven for an hour to cook. He went back to the living room and pouted softly as he sat down, "you took my blanket~" he whined, curling up tightly on the couch and sipping his coffee.
"Of course I did. I was cold, wanted something to cuddle and it smells like you." He snuggled further into the couch, wrapping the blanket around him tighter.
Logan blushed as he took another sip of his coffee. "But now i'm cold~" he argued, scooting closer to Jackson and resting his head against him, nuzzling gently into the warmth of the blanket
He opened his blanket and pulled Logan in so the blanket surrounded them both. "There, now we can both be warm."
Logan hummed softly and nudged his head against Jackson's chest. "Yay!" he curled up tight and peeked over the edge of Jackson's arms to watch tv, more focused on everywhere they made contact with each other than on the movie
He wondered if Logan could hear his heart hammering in his chest from being so close. He couldn't focus on anything other than Logan and the tingles that zapped his skin wherever they touched.
Logan had started to relax again Jackson a bit more when the timer went off in the kitchen. He jumped slightly and groaned in protest. Untangling himself from Jackson, he went into the kitchen and checked the Lasagna, pulling it out carefully and setting it on the counter to cool. "want some?" he asked over his shoulder, pulling out plates from the cabinets. "it's really good~"
He shook his head with a slight smile. "No thanks, I'm okay." With you around, there's not much I can do without turning into a stuttering mess…
Logan nodded and cut a slice for himself, wrapping the rest up in plastic wrap and putting it the refrigerator. He sat back down next to Jackson and pulled his legs up to his chest, resting the plate on his knees as he enjoyed the dinner
He stayed wrapped up tight in the blanket, back to staring blankly out the window and the falling snow outside.
Logan set his plate aside when he had finished with it and leaned his head against Jackson once again, watching the tv but not really focusing on it, letting his mind wander for a bit
He once again wrapped Logan up in the blanket, snuggling into him without a word. He smiled a little, why couldn't his last relationship have been this much fun?
He glanced up at Jackson with a small smile and nuzzled into the warmth of the other, not saying anything either in case he said something wrong…again. instead he just rested his head back against Jackson's chest and shut his eyes, tilting his head so that it was nestled in the crook of his neck
He hummed along with the music from the TV, he'd seen this movie a thousand times and practically had it memorized. He hadn't seen it in a while so listening to it again was nice.
He smiled at hearing Jackson's soft humming, the sound calming to him. he opened his eyes and watched both the tv and the other. At the moment he didn't really know how to feel, were they just close friends? or were they something more? he had kissed him after all and they had slept together but did that mean anything? the memory of the kiss made him flush a bit but otherwise it was a pleasant memory.
He wanted that kiss to mean something, to he more than what he imagined the other believed it to be. He wanted to be more than friends but Jay's warning still echoed in his head. He promised, he promised he wouldn't. But how long would he be able to keep up this facade before Logan started asking questions?
Logan picked his head up and glanced out the window, watching as the slow fell in large fluffy clumps tot he ground. "Have you figured out where you want to sleep?" he asked, pulling his gaze away from the window to look up at Jackson.
He snapped out of his daze and looked down at him. "Um, I'll just stay out here. It'll be less of a hassle…" He snuggled further into the couch, blushing pink.
