"It's good to see you too, sorry it took me so long to see you again." Selina relaxed and settled back into a sitting position, watching him with an amused look, "Do you still want to go around the park?"
"It's good to see you too, sorry it took me so long to see you again." Selina relaxed and settled back into a sitting position, watching him with an amused look, "Do you still want to go around the park?"
”It’s ok. I'm sure you were busy with your pack.” he smiled, happy to see her again. He nodded eagerly at her question. ”I would love to. Uh… Let me just put on some clothes and I’ll be ready.” he told her with a light blush as he stood up to reenter the cave.
"Take as much time as you need," She replied, standing up and pacing around as she waited. It was more out of boredom than impatiens though, along with a need to stretch her legs after laying there for so long.
He nodded and once in the cave he quickly threw on a clean t-shirt and pair of jeans. After a moment of thought, he grabbed a spare set of clothes for Selina to borrow just in case she wanted to change into her human form. ”Ready if you are.” he smiled as he walked out with his new hiking stick and hiking bag.
Selina nodded, her smile coming back, "I'm always ready. I just have to think of where to bring you first." She glanced back at him before padding towards the woods, her smile brightening, "I know where, let's get going.'
Frankie matched her smile and followed after her. ”Lead the way, I’ll follow you.” he told her as he quickly put the spare clothes in his bag. He was eager to see what she wanted to show him.
(Ok just a heads up I'm going to be gone for like 2-5 days from this friday night bc I'm going hunting, just wanted to give you a heads up)
"Just holler if I'm going too fast though," She said, weaving through the woods as she brought him towards one of her favorite spots in the park, the top of one of the taller hills in the park.
(Ok. Have fun!)
”I may not have four legs but I can keep up.” He smiled as wove expertly through the trees, keeping a pretty good pace with her. He was so glad to see her again. It felt like they were old friends instead of people who just met this week.
Selina grinned, glancing at him, "Right now you can, if I ran though you would be far behind." She looked back at the surroundings and continued along, "So, how has your last few days been?"
”Probably.” he agreed. He was a pretty good runner, even though he never make the track team, but he knew he would never outrun her. ”It’s been really great. Everything I was hoping for, honestly.” he smiled at her. ”Though, this is the first time I actually looked forward to having company on this trip.”
(I'm back for a few days! :D)
She laughed and smiled again, "I didn't know you were looking forward to seeing me that much, I'm honored. I have to say though, I was looking forward to seeing you just as much."
(Yay! Welcome back.)
Frankie blushed a little as he laughed with her. ”Trust me, the honor is mine that you’d want to spend time with me.” he told her honestly.
"I'm just another werewolf, not someone I would say you should be honored to spend time with." She continued on and glanced up in the sky to see how much the sun had risen in the short while they had been walking.
”No, you're not.” He smiled at her. ”You're the Beta of your pack and the only werewolf I know. I'm just a normal human guy… who happens to love nature more than most.” he conceded with a slight shrug.
"See, all those qualities are amazing to me," She replied, smiling, "I'm just a werewolf, you're a human, and ontop of that, one who cares about the environment."
Frankie shrugged. ”I won't argue with you but I've always felt normal city life was boring. You, however, are incredible.” he smiled. ”You get to live with pure untamed nature… not just with it but be a part of it. Honestly, I'm a little jealous.”
"Living with and in nature is pretty fun, but sometimes it gets very boring and repetitive," She admitted, "I love where I live, but I do get jealous of all the things there are to do in a city, how many different things you can try and never get bored."
He shrugged. ”I guess cities can be fun… If you’re a tourist. That way you get to see and experience all the fun, cool stuff. But if you live there; it's a whole different experience.” Frankie warned.
"What is it like actually living there?" She questioned, curious since she hadn't lived in a city. Selina looked over at him with a smile, still leading him but now up a slight hill through the woods.
”Busy.” Frankie said. ”You never really have much time to enjoy yourself or spend with your friends or family.” he sighed, shaking his head. ”It’s also very stressful. Between school, work and angry drivers… It leaves you physically and mentally drained so the only thing you want to do when you get home is sleep.” he looked back at her. ”Not like out here.”
"That…doesn't sound fun," She admitted, frowning slightly, "Why do people live in cities then when it sound that unhappy?"
”It’s not.” he agreed. ”I think most people stay there because it's all they know. Sure, they daydream about the perfect escape but since no one ever has enough money to go through with it… they kinda get stuck in an endless cycle.” Frankie explained. ”Others I think stay for the community aspect of it. They have friends there that they don't want to leave so… yeah.” he ended with a shrug.
"I understand being stuck there because of money, but staying for friends? You can always go see them and visit whenever, that's a decent tradeoff for living not in the city." She nodded and continued up the hill they were on, even as it got steeper and harder to climb.
Frankie shrugged. ”I don't really understand that reason either since I don't have many friends, especially not that I'm very close to but I’d stay for my family if they needed me to.” he agreed, not having too much trouble with the incline yet, but his pace did slow a little.
"Why don't you have many friends?" She asked, genuinely curious as her powerful wolf form easily continued up; she slowed her pace though to stay with him as it seemed to get even steeper.
