(time skip to the morning?)
(sure)
Allie woke up, stretching. She yawned, her messy curls falling into her face. She sighed and brushed them out of the way. Getting up, she did a quick inventory of her room, making sure Logan hadn’t taken anything. Everything seemed to be in place. She put her tangled locks into a messy bun, not wanting to bother with her blonde curls that were getting more wild by the day. Without any way to really wash her hair without wasting precious water(it wasn’t as if the water or electricity in the house were still working) or a hairbrush to try and fix it, she was out of luck. She walked lightly to the kitchen, her stomach growling. Her breakfasts were typically small, as were most of her meals, and her stomach was almost never fully satisfied. She wondered when Logan would wake up.
Logan was asleep, still sprawled out on the bed as if he had absolutely no fear of her killing or otherwise harming him. He had tossed and turned for a while throughout the night, before finally falling asleep. His dark hair was messy, sticking up all over. After a bit, he finally woke up, stretching, and headed downstairs.
Allie looked up when she heard his footsteps. “Morning,” she croaked, her voice slightly rough from sleep. In the pale morning light she noticed what she had failed to consider when she had been thinking he was an alien last night…he was handsome. Her face flushed and she looked away. It wasn’t like they would see much of each other after today anyway.
Logan gave a small smile. "Morning." He said. His voice was fuzzy and tired from sleep, words slightly slurred. He bit his lip slightly. She's…pretty. he thought. He cleared his throat softly, shaking his head a bit.
“So, I thought we might have some pears for breakfast?” she suggested, making an effort not to look at Logan’s face again. She hoped that he didn’t notice. The last thing she needed was him getting suspicious of her for no good reason.
He shrugged, eyes flickering. Haven't had pears in a while. He thought. "Sure." He replied aloud, raking a hand through his hair.
“Great!” she chirped. She bit her lip to keep herself from talking more and went into the pantry, returning with a can of pears. “Ta-da! One of my finds from yesterday!” She set to work opening it.
He smiled. "Oh good." He replied. "Need any help?" He asked, stepping over to her and raising his eyebrows. His hair was still messy, and his voice was still husky and low from sleeping.
“I’m good, thanks,” she replied, struggling for a second but getting the lid off. She didn’t ask for help before and she wasn’t about to start now. “You want to go first?”
He nodded, then shook his head. "No, you go ahead. You're the one that's been kind enough to let me stay here, and have fed me." He said.
“If you’re sure,” she replied before eating her share of the pears. She felt a bit weird eating in front of him, but tried not to think about it. Even before the invasion, she didn’t like eating in front of people unless they were also eating something. She finished her half quickly and handed him the can. “Here you go.”

(ok)
He took the can, and ate the rest of it. "Thank you." He said with a small smile, setting the can down.
She nodded. “You’re welcome,” she said. “I was going to go looking for a nearby stream or river for a new source of water, are you game?”
He shrugged. "Yeah, sure." Adjusting his sleeves, he looked over at her. "Let me grab my bag, just in case." He went upstairs, grabbing his bag, and came back down.
Allie made she had her pistol and a knife just in case they ran into any trouble, and a small pack as well, with bottles to put some water in. “Okay, let’s go.”
Logan nodded, and opened the door for her, holding it open. He had his gun as well, though he didn't have it out or visible.
“Thank you,” Allie said, walking through the door. She was somewhat surprised at the gesture. She led him towards a nearby stream. “There should be a stream right around here…”
He nodded, closing the door before following her. "Alright." He looked aroind for the stream carefully, his dark hair still messy and untamed.
“Here it is!” Allie called, sighting it through some trees. As she turned back to Logan, she was caught off guard by the way the pale sunlight hit his face. She quickly turned back around and headed towards the stream, hoping he didn’t notice her blush. I am a mess today, she sighed inwardly.
Logan smiled, and walked over. He swallowed slightly as the sun caught her hair, making it look like a shining halo around her head. He looked away, directing his attention towards the stream.
“I definitely took running water for granted,” she sighed, gazing at the stream. It bubbled down through the trees. Then she knelt and opened her bag, filling one of the bottles with water.
