Kai frowned. "Uhm. Yes? Unless it's cloudy…why? Haven't you seen the sky before?" He asked.
Kai frowned. "Uhm. Yes? Unless it's cloudy…why? Haven't you seen the sky before?" He asked.
(by the way, do you want him to know he has powers or have a suspicion that he does, or would you rather he have no clue? I'm good either way)
(It doesn’t matter to me, whichever you wanna do :) )
Alex shook his head, “Well… I’ve seen the sky, my sky just isn’t blue…”
(alright!)
Kai raised an eyebrow. "What are you talking about?" he asked, fidgeting with the sleeves of his cream colored sweater.
Alex sighed and shook his head a little, “It’s… complicated. Where I come from we don’t have… most colours.”
Kai made a face. "That's weird." He commented. "So where you come from…it looks like a black and white movie?"
Alex shrugged, “There is colour… just very little of it.”
He nodded, then frowned, looking at Alex carefully. "But… there's nowhere on Earth like that." He said slowly, taking a step back. Oh god. Another psycho? Please not another…
Alex hummed and nodded, “I know. But that’s because I’m not from earth.”
Kai pulled his phone from his pocket. It definitely hadn't been there a second ago. He clutched it like a weapon, staring at Alex. "That's not… what? You can't…I don't believe you. You're crazy."
Alex groaned internally, knowing this was going to happened eventually, “No, I’m completely sane. Why would I lie to you?”
"People who are insane don't know it. You wouldn't know you're lying." Kai said matter of factly, still holding the phone like a weapon.
(I saw. Good luck!)
(You're back! (? Maybe?) And I was wondering if you wanted to continue this still?)
(Yes! sorry I've been trying to get through all my threads and I'm still in school so lol. I'm down to continue this, though)
Alex sighed, rubbing his face with one hand, "I don't someone who is insane would go so far in depth about whatever they're talking about. Look, I can prove it, I just need to regain some of my strength."
(lol oof, it's totally fine! Just glad you're back!)
Kai glared at him. "Fine. One wrong move and you're out on the street again." he stuffed his phone back in his pocket, letting out a slightly shaky breath. He ran a hand through his black curls.
Alex nodded, “Thanks… I guess.” He mumbled, rubbing his shoulder. The quicker he proved his point the better, “How old are you?”
"Seventeen." Kai replied, sitting down on the bed again and watching Alex carefully. He tugged on the sleeves of his sweater anxiously, fidgeting.
“Right.. okay. Alex chewed his lip, starting to pace back and forth in front of the window, “Not too young I guess.”
Kai blinked, staring at him. "Too young for what?" he asked, raising an eyebrow. Human trafficking? Or…what??
“Fighting.” He replied simply with a shrug of his shoulders, “You do know how to fight, right?”
Kai blinked rapidly, still staring at him. "I uhm…no?" he looked like a deer caught in the headlights. "I-I can't fight…I don't…" he continued to stare at Alex, still and unmoving.
Alex’s eyes narrowed for a moment before he adverted his gaze to the ground, “Damn, that’s a problem.”
"Why is that a problem??!" Kai demanded, voice rising. "Who the fucking hell are you?? You show up beat to hell and back, having appeared out of nowhere, you're claiming you're from someplace else, and now you're asking if I can fight?? What the fuck is going on?!"
