Kai raised an eyebrow. "… okay." He said slowly. They came up to a small house, and Kai pulled a key from his pocket, opening the door.
"Kai? Is that you?" Called a female voice.
"Yes, mom!" Kai called, quickly hustling Alex up the stairs. "Move!" He hissed between his teeth, closing the door to his room. "I'm not supposed to have friends over right now, and she'll flip out if she sees you." He explained.
Ales normally would have made a comment about them not exactly being friends but he refrained and for once he did as he was told, “Any reason why or…”
"One, I know we aren't friends, but that's what my mom would assume. Two…" Kai looked away, turning red and covering his face. "I-it's not important. Nor is it your business."
Alex rolled his eyes, “I didn’t care anyway. You got any medical supplies then?”
Kai nodded, standing. "I'll be right back." He said softly, leaving the room. He came back a few minutes later with medical supplies, setting the box on the floor and going through it, pulling things out.
While Kai was doing that, Alex slowly peeled off his bloodied and slightly ripped shirt to reveal the extent of his injuries. There were quite a few deep gashes in his chest and one in his shoulder, along with other smaller cuts and bruises.
Kai glanced up at him, biting his lip, and handed him supplies. "Here…" He said softly. He raked a hand through his dark hair.
Alex mumbled a 'thanks' already getting to work with expert skill. It was obvious he'd done this before, and many times at that.
Kai nodded, and sat down on his bed, setting his phone to the side. He nibbled his lower lip slightly.
Alex made sure to be quick when fixing himself up, senses slowly coming back to him. Something was… different about Kai, he just couldn't place what yet.
Kai started humming softly. After a few minutes, he stopped. "Where…do you have a place to stay?" He asked, fiddling with his sweater sleeves and biting his lip.
(Btw starting tonight and going thru Friday, i won't be on here)
(Okay, that's fine, hope every thing is okay :) )
Alex looked over to Kai and tilted his head before shaking it, "No, I don't. But I'll find some shelter somewhere, don't worry."
(turns out I can be on, just not often. Everything is fine, just busy :) )
Kai hesitated. "You can stay here if you want…" He said hesitantly and slowly. "I-I mean…i have to talk to my mom but…she might be okay with it."
(Okie)
"You don't have to do that, seriously," Alex replied, shaking his head slightly, "I'm sure I could find somewhere."
Kai nodded. "Okay." He said softly, looking down at his hands for a moment.
Alex was silent, thinking for a moment, “But… until I can find somewhere… could I stay?”
Kai hesitated, then nodded. "I have to talk to my mom…it's her house." He said. "But…if I tell her you're homeless, it'll be okay. I think." He said.
Alex nodded, “Okay… thanks.” He mumbled, continuing to tend to another wound on his chest.
Kai nodded. "You're welcome…" He said softly.
(Hey sorry I kinda disappeared for a hot minute, went through a tough break up)
Eventually, Alex had all of his wounds patched up as best he could. He packed away the supplies as best he could before he had to rest his injured arm.
(oh it's fine! I'm so sorry!)
Kai got off the bed and helped him put the supplies away, biting his lip slightly, for probably the fifth time since he had met Alex. It was a nervous habit of his, that probably wasn't a good one.
Alex took a moment to look around his room, fascinated by everything inside. It was so different from his own home it was just strange, “Thanks again, for the help.”
Kai nodded. "You're welcome." He said quietly, putting the first aid kit away, and then coming back.
When Kai came back, Alex was looking out the window, looking up at the sky, "Is the sky always this blue?"
