"But I did," Ava retorted, nabbing Blue's fry.

"Hey, rude. You said you didn't want anything to eat, remember?" Blue pointed out, at the same time she pulled out a large fry and handed it to Ava. She'd ordered two.

Ava grinned. "I love you so much right now," she laughed, "but you didn't need to do that."

"But I did." Blue shot back, using Ava's previous statement as she looked down at her shake, her cheeks warming at the comment.

Ava's eyebrows arched teasingly. She looked like she wanted to say something, but didn't.

Blue dipped a fry in her shake before popping it in her mouth, thinking. Love? I'm not mishearing that?

Ava stared. "You do that too?"

"Do what?" Blue asked, another fry already dangling from her mouth as she looked up.

"Dip your fries in youf shake," Ava replied.

"Oh, that. Yeah, have since I was a kid." Blue nodded, shooting Ava a small smile. "You do it too?"

"Duh!" Ava replied, a wide smile on her face.

Blue huffed a laugh, dipping another fry and holding it up in a mock toast. "To fries and shakes.'

Ava shook her head, then mimicked the action. " To fries and shakes."

"Salude!" Blue cheered, before popping the fry into her mouth ceremoniously.

Ava laughed and did the same thing. "Wonderful!"

"Truly the pinnacle of cuisine." Blue commented solemnly, nodding.

"Most agreeable."

(You probably forgot, but my girl is a theater nerd too… 😝)

"Okay. We're gonna play a game." Blue said after a few minutes, looking up from her fries.

(Yo, saaaame!!!)

Ava arched her eyebrows. "Oh?"

(THEY SHOULD PLAY 20 QUESTIONS! XD)

((NO. THAT IS A BAD GAME))

Blue nodded, shifting in her seat to face Ava. "I throw a fry. If ya catch it in your mouth, we move on, if you don', ya have to answer any question I ask honestly. Then, ya do the same t' me."

(MWAHAHAHA XD)

Ava smirked. "Alright, you're on."

Blue snorted, plucking a fry from the bag and tossing it.

Ava caught the first one proudly. "Ha!" she declared.

Blue laughed, shaking her head as she handed Ava the fries. "Alright, let;s see if I can catch one of the damned things."

Ava grinned and tossed one easily into the air for Blue.
