@Simon-Says
Cassie shrugged. "I really never make plans. We could, like play a game, or something?" She suggested with a laugh.
Cassie shrugged. "I really never make plans. We could, like play a game, or something?" She suggested with a laugh.
“Okay,” Ian said with a chuckle. He always planned things out, usually to the minute, or at least his parents did. “Like a video game?”
Cassie shrugged. "That works. We'll have to steal my brother's stuff, though," she abruptly turned around and headed back downstairs.
Ian followed her with a smile. “Your house is cool.”
Cassie laughed. "You could certainly say that. It's weirdly quiet right now, and it's weirding me out."
“What’s it normally like then?” Ian asked with a light laugh. His house was almost always quiet.
"Loud. Children are everywhere. You open up the fridge for some juice? Child. Try to go to the bathroom? Child behind the shower curtain. Want to watch the tv? No tv, there is only child," she said, laughing.
Ian laughed too. “I’m sure that makes things interesting,” he commented. He tried to imagine having a sibling practically around every corner.
"Interesting is certainly one word for it," she laughed, walking into the living room.
Ian followed her. “Well at my house we definitely don’t have anything ‘interesting,’” he mumbled.
Cassie rolled her eyes playfully. "I get it, you're boring. I know I'm lucky."
Ian smirked. “What games do you guys have?” he asked her.
(oof sorry i was a bit busy earlier)
(Um in case you missed it @Second-rate-Illy I already wrote a reply at the end of page 23… but I'll copy and paste)
Kaori gave Nagi a strange look. Girls like her and Cassie didn't get changes of heart, but… maybe Nagi was different. Just… maybe. "Ok then… I believe it's… down there?" He pointed to his left, changing the subject. He walked down the sidewalk, keeping an eye on the large neon sign, blinking, that read "Pizza Paradise". He looked back at Nagi, stopping. "Hey, are you okay with pizza? It looks like it's a pizza place."
Cassie shrugged. "I have no idea. Let's find out," she opened a large cupboard absolutely filled with different kinds of games. "Pick one."
Ian studied them for a moment before choosing MarioKart. “I used to be obsessed with this when I was like nine,” he said with a chuckle.
(lol i am not a gamer soooo)
(Bro same it's all good)
Cassie laughed. "Okay, then," she said, quickly slipping the disc in and turning on the tv. Then she turned and started to hunt for the controllers.
Ian found a spot on the couch that he thought was comfortable and plopped down dramatically. He grinned.
"I'm fine with Pizza." Nagi held her wrist. Why do I feel so nervous and uncomfortable. "Kaori, tell me. What kind of person am I to you. How would you describe me?" *That's it, I'm just going to ask everyone since obviously I'm the weird one around here. They walked in and found an empty table hoping the others would show up. But not before Kaori answered her question.
After several minutes of searching, Cassie procured two controllers and tossed one to Ian.
Ian caught it. “I’m totally going to kick your ass in this game,” Ian said with a smirk.
Cassie gasped dramatically. "Good luck with that. I've been forced to play this game many, many times," she laughed.
"Alright that sounds good," Kaori replied. He looked at Nagi, his eyes hardening (figuratively). "You really want to know, honestly?"
“We’ll see about that,” Ian said. “You’re going down!”
She shook her head, laughing evilly. "No, I'm not. Hurry up and pick your character."
