So I was reading a Webcomic about something like this and it looked cool and wanted to try my own. Basically it will be about this girl who suddenly wakes up and is in a cliche story. But, it's not her story, she's only the best friend of the main character. The main girl is beautiful, smart and everything a classic doesn't know she's beautiful main character. The best friend doesn't know what's happening and denies that the girl is her friend at first. Then comes the group of popular boys, the ones who slowly fall in love with the main character.

Backstory: He grew up with two strict parents who were rarely there, and maybe let it slip once or twice that he had been an accident. He quickly learned that if he wanted attention, he had to step out of line, and stops just short of what they would make his life hell for. He tried to distance himself as he got older, working to get things for himself so they didn't have many excuses to take away thinks he loved (like his guitar).
