"What's happening?!" Elina shouted, cowering.
"What's happening?!" Elina shouted, cowering.
A sharp piece of ice whizzed by Elina's face, but Anah quickly covered her and got cut. She winced, but only for a moment. "I can't control myself. This is why I'm-" She took a cut across her hip- "dangerous." Within seconds, the ice stopped and Anah was bleeding from several spots, many on her hands, sides, and face.
Elina took Anah's face in her hands. "I want to help you. I can help you control it." While Anah didn't realise because Elina had been talking, her cuts had been healing quickly.
Anah hugged Elina tight to her. "I'm so sorry, Elina. I should've fought it harder. Are you okay?"
"I'm fine. And so are you. You're not hurt anymore."
"Wha…" Anah looked at all the places where her ice had cut her and they were- "Healed?"
Elina smiled. "I'm not that different from you."
(btw this is only just happened and was not planned. you gave me the idea :) )
(Cool! I helped! ;D)
Anah looked amazed. "You… You healed me?"
Elina nodded, now slightly shy.
"How? Since… When did you have these powers?"
"We picked up on it when I was in a deadly carriage accident and my wounds disappeared."
Anah looked at her sister. She cupped her cheek and cried softly, tears of joy. "Elina, thank you."
"That's why I want to help you."
Anah pulled her sister into another hug. "What if I hurt you and you can't fix it?"
"I healed someone on the brink of death. I'm stronger when healing myself."
Anah released her. "So, now what?" she asked. Her fingers brushed across the glassy floor.
"Come home with me."
"I can't," she responded quickly. "They all hate me there."
"No one hates you. I promise."
"How do you know?" she pressed.
"Because most of them have forgotten you," Elina replied softly.
Anah was shocked. "What?!"
"You've been unseen for what? 14 years?"
Anah tucked a piece of hair behind her ear. "Oh yeah… that. You lose track of time when you live up here.
"But we'll make them remember you in the right way."
