(It’s alright! What can I help you with new person? :) )
She pushed herself back until she hit the wall, her eyes never leaving the first mate’s as she tried to keep her breathing even and stay calm. Though her body didn’t seem to be cooperating at all with what her mind was telling her.

The first mate leaned closer, pinning her against the wall. "Now you're really in trouble, aren't you? I ought to have you walk the plank, liar. Do you have anything to say for yourself?"

@gracehustle

“Sorry?” She squeaked with a shrug, her eyes darting to Daso before looking back at the first mate. Her heart was racing and she tried to shift to the side away from him.

@WriteOutofTime

"Not good enough," he said, reaching for her and grabbing a fist full of her hair.

Daso recovered from the backhand and jumped on him, his fists flying. "I said, let her go!"

By now the noise had alerted the rest of the crew members.

@gracehustle

Andrea yelped as he grabbed her hair, ducking as Daso attacked even though it pulled her hair. The first mate seemed none too pleased as Daso attacked again and let go of her hair so he could deal with him. It was obvious they were making a scene and soon some of the other crew members came around, almost circling the three of them.

@WriteOutofTime

The first mate sneered at Daso. "Oh, you really wanna fight me, kid? Come at me then." He pulled out a knife.

Daso stepped back, his eyes wide. "No, I don't want to fight you! I just want you to leave her alone!"

"Her?" The captain suddenly stepped into the fray, his eyes widening. He turned towards Andrea, his face completely unreadable. "Is that true?"

@gracehustle

She was silent for a moment before her head nodded just barely, already moving back against the wall again, “Yes..I am.” Her eyes flicked to the knife in the first mates hand to Daso and then to the captain, the tension in the air quite visible.

@gracehustle

(Well, it could either get pretty serious or it could kinda just blow over, I’m thinking the serious thing could end up with her being thrown in the brig or something(cuz he promised not to kill him) or whatever, that’s the only idea I got rn sry..)

@WriteOutofTime

(could you write a starter? i'm for real not sure where to go from here plus i don't want to force things to happen to your character)

@gracehustle

The captain seemed none to pleased with the new information, though he kept his face neutral. After a moment he shook his head, obviously trying to figure out what to say as his fingers curled into light fists.

Andrea stayed silent, shaking barely as time went on and no one moved a muscle. This was either going to end badly or in the very least with someone getting hurt.

“A girl.” He captain muttered, turning to face Daso, “What do you have to say about this, boy?”

@WriteOutofTime

He for a fleeting second considered lying, but changed his mind quickly. "I knew all along, sir" he said, bowing his head humbly. "We meant you no disrespect."

@gracehustle

“Meant me no disrespect,” The captain mimicked, facing both of them with a scowl, “Do you know how many superstitions have to do with women on board?” He spun on his heel and started pacing around in front of the two of them, pushing the first mate back a half step, “I should just kill you both.”

@gracehustle

“Bring these two to my quarters.” The captain growled, his eyes narrowing as he looked between the two of them and the first mate, “So I can decide what to do with them without an audience.”

@WriteOutofTime

The first mate roughly grabbed the two by their shoulders, dragging them behind the captain with no gentleness. "I have a request, captain," he growled, his grip tightening. "That whatever you decide, I get a few punches in on this one." He pulled Daso's hair.

@gracehustle

“You can use him as a persona punching bag if that’s what you want, just let me figure out what to do with them first.” He replied, marching into his cabin after dismissing the rest of the crew. The captain dismissed the first mate once he pushed the two of them into his cabin, motioning for them to stand and do nothing, “I don’t personally care for superstitions boy, but that still doesn’t mean I don’t have a reason to kill you. I could get killed or my crew could mutiny, which wouldn’t end immensely well for me especially.”

@WriteOutofTime

"Well, what do you want us to do about it?" Daso asked, still scowling at having his hair pulled. "Why not let them know who's boss?"

@gracehustle

The captain rolled his eyes, “What would have bees helpful for this who situation is if that girl,” He glared at Andrea as he talked, “Hadn’t said anything about being a girl until we got to port. I should just kill both of you and save myself the trouble of dealing with this. Plus getting punched would hurt a lot less for you mate.”

“You promised you wouldn’t kill us,” Andrea squeaked, quickly looking to the floor once she said it, “And Daso did nothing wrong, if you were going to kill anyone it would just be me and not him.”

@WriteOutofTime

"No, actually, you'd have to kill me and let Andrea go," Daso said quickly, shrugging as though it were a fact. "I convinced her that her disguise would work, and I dragged her into this mess. If you're gonna kill, might as well be me."

@gracehustle

“You didn’t drag me into this mess,” She protested, looking over at him, “I’m the idiot that blew my cover, and I’m the one that joined you on the docks anyway.”

The captain stayed quiet as they bickered, pacing around the cabin in front of them again. “Quiet! Both of you.” He stopped in front of them again when a plan came to mind, “How about we make a deal, since girl over there reminded me I can’t kill you.”
