(Time to indroduce Fun's dead sister! XD)
Fun hurried down as well when he heard the scream.
"Shit," he mumbled, trying to get to Evan.
"Quit it with throwing this shit around!" a female voice said. A ghost of a young girl just sort of popped out of Fun.
"What are you, three? Stop throwing a fucking temper tantrum!" the girl herself looked to be about twelve, covering in many of the same scars and wounds as could be seen on Fun.
Evan was cowering in the corner when he saw the girl. "Mom what happened to Robert?" "He may have moved up to the attic dear and is giving Starla trouble. Now. Come here. We have to go get the house cleaned up, homework to do." "But the ghost-" "A little family reunion and she'll pass on. C'mon now. Yes excuse us dear." Crystal lead Evan upstairs and he sighed as he sat on the couch and waited for his love.
Eventually, Fun made his way back upstairs.
"Sorry about her," he said with a sigh, sitting down with Evan.
"She's my older sister. She… it happened when we were in a bad place, and she's stuck with me since. Still wants to protect her little brother."
Evan nodded. "Yeah. Life happens like that. Me and Ev have been there done that." He said with a sigh. "We've got another spirit here. Bought the house with the ghost. He's probably pissed your sister is here." Evan shrugged and stood up. "Let's let her be. Laundry can wait." He then grabbed his backpack from the floor and pulled out a script. "I've got pretty girls to kiss for theatrical affect. I play lotsa guys that kiss girls since I don't catch feelings after. It don't bother me and the girls are happy because their boyfriend's don't get jealous about it. It's a win win situation." He nods as he began to read over the script. "We're doing Sleeping Beauty."
Fun listened quietly to Evan talking about the play, smiling a little.
"You're playing the prince, right?" He asked. "I'll want to come watch." He stood and walked over, wrapping one arm around Evan lightly, leaning over to skim the script.
"I get a lot of leading male roles." He shrugged and kissed his lovers cheek. "Yes you can come watch silly." Evan was surprised his boyfriend didn't get jealous. "Oh! And then after this we're doing Be More Chill. I get to kiss a boy because the two are gay. I'm hoping to be Jeremy Heere anyways." (Yes I know that it isn't canon or that it doesn't actually happen but God damn it I want the ship to sail and sail it shall)
Fun hadn't been jealous when Evan talked of kissing girls, but the moment he mentioned kissing a boy, jealousy showed itself in Fun.
"Perhaps I might audition," he said, holding Evan a bit closer. He kissed Evan on the forehead.
"Oh you could never be Michael Mell. He's like Puerto Rican or something." He shrugged as he continued to skim over the lines, sitting back down on the couch.
Fun didn't like this. Evan was going to be kissing another man. He came with Evan to the couch, frowning a little. No, he didn't like that at all, and it showed on his face. He kissed Evan's cheek.
Evan didn't seem to notice at all the clear disgust in his lovers face as he muttered his lines to himself, trying really hard to memorize them. He had only gotten the script last week, but he was dedicated. "I'm really excited for Be More Chill. It's my favorite musical! Oh and the dancing in it will be so much fun. And all the cool affects."
"I'm, happy you enjoy it," Fun said, trying to keep cool. He really, really didn't like the thought of Evan kissing another man. He wrapped his arm around and held him close as he looked over the script.
Evan looked up at Fun and finally noticed his dark expression. "What? Why do you look so angry? Is it because of Be More Chill? I have to do it. It's for the stage. I've kissed guys in gay plays before, but never caught feelings if I was with someone else. I promise it'll be fine." He said with a soft smile.
"If you say so," Fun said. He let out a quiet sigh. It was nothing, just a play. Just pretend. Evan was still his. He kissed Evan's cheek lightly.
"I know so!" He said cheerfully, not a care in the world. Suddenly the door busted open, and in walked Ashton. Crystal crossed her arms. "Skipping class again Ashton?" "What mom no I uh I forgot some school work." Crystal rolled her eyes as Ashton looked up at her pleadingly. "You have to do Evelyn's chores on Saturday. You're grounded from seeing your friends from now until Saturday. Go to your room." "What but moooom!" "I DON'T want to hear it! Go to your room! Now!" Ashton grumbled and stomped upstairs to his room. (Yes I DO have a buttload of boy drama planned)
(Perfect! XD)
Fun was startled by the door banging open, holding a little tighter to Evan. He didn't handle loud noises well, not at all. Stepping up to the door, though, was a woman. Well, she didn't look it, looking almost as if she was younger than Fun and Evan.
"Mrs. Hayashi," Fun said, keeping a tremble from his voice from the noise. So, this was Fun's adoptive mother?
Immediately Crystal popped her head out from the kitchen. "Oh hello there dearest! How nice it is to meet another ah, harem mother I suppose. It's a term coined by my dearest Evelyn. Please come, sit in the kitchen. I'm making rosehip tea. Evan, go finish the laundry. Bring your lover with, have him help." Evan groaned. "And afterwards practice piano. Play us a few love songs." Crystal winked, and then turned her full attention to Fun's mother with a warm and welcoming smile. Evan then got up, and headed back downstairs, shaking his head as he loaded everything in the washer, and started pulling things out of the dryer.
Fun's mother nodded to Crystal, heading into the kitchen. She smiled warmly in return.
"I'm Hinata," she introduced herself. "It's a pleasure to meet you. And I suppose harem mother makes sense." She chuckled a little. "How many people do you have living here?"
Fun went with Evan downstairs, helping him with the laundry.
"I hope my mother is okay with me staying here," he said with a soft sigh. "She can be very protective."
"I'm Crystal, and the same to you. 16, give or take, depending on whose spending the night where." She said with a smile, pouring the tea. "And you, how many are you housing?" She asked gently as she set out the tea and sugar packets.
Evan nodded. "It's Crystal we're talking about. Ultimate Mom. The mommiest of all moms, I have no doubt you're staying the night." He then grabbed Fun's face and kissed him deeply ,wrapping his arms around him. (Yes yes yes good bad plans for the night hehehe)
(Oh god, that's not gonna be good for Fun. get ready for it if you dare There will be angst, but also there will have to be cuddles.)
Hinata gratefully accepted the tea, thinking a moment.
"Close to thirty. Many live full time with me. Though, not very many humans…" Hinata sighed softly.
Fun was a bit surprised by the kiss, wrapping his arms around Evan's waist and holding him close during the kiss as his eyes slid shut.
Crystal nodded. "30 hm? We have a vampire but mostly humans run around this place. Oh and a fire elemental." She nodded as she sipped the tea, sitting down. "Humans are so much more trouble really. In a way." She smiled. "I rather do like Fun. Protective, but sweet. Him and Evan seem to get along very well. It makes me happy to see Evan making more friends." She decided to not out Fun if he hadn't come out of the closet already, and didn't want to ruin a special motherly moment of watching their child rant about their lover. Introduce them to parents. She would let Fun do all of that in her own time. "Though we did have a run in with his sister in the basement, created quite a ruckus, but that problem has been adverted."
Evan slid away after a few moments with a blush coloring his cheeks. "Sorry I just had too…I wanted to kiss you like that earlier but I wanted some privacy." He smiled softly, kissing his lovers cheek. "And don't worry about the play. I promise nothing will happen." He knew that that was a partial lie, depending on who'd get the roll of Michael Mell, but nonetheless, he just wanted to comfort his boyfriend, and he can handle himself perfectly fine.
"Well, those staying with me are usually robots or immortals. Fun is only of the one humans. I think there's only two, actually, and the other doesn't stay often." Hinata chuckled softly. "I'm glad Fun is making friends too. He didn't… have much positive interact with people other than his sister for a long time. I'm surprised he's made a friend now. And yes, his sister can be a handful."
Fun leaned forward hen Evan started blushing, smiling softly.
"I'm glad you waited until we were alone," Fun said with a smirk. "And…" he sighed a little.
"I'll trust you with the play. So long as I get to kiss you right after." Fun chuckled a little, kissing Evan's blush lightly on each cheek.
"An interesting mix indeed." Crystal nodded. "Oh would you like anything to eat? Maybe some toast or I'm sure I have bagels, or crackers…" She got up and headed to the kitchen, forever a hostest.
Evan smiled and hugged his love with a smile. "Before and after, I promise." He said with a grin. "But that's a long way off. I've gotta focus on Sleeping Beauty currently."
"I'm alright," Hinata said. She took a sip of her tea, thinking a little.
"Fun said he wanted to stay the night. Are you alright with this? He does still get night terrors. They can be very intense."
"Of course." Fun hugged Evan, grinning. "And I know you'll do amazing. You'll look amazing too. You'd look good in anything." Fun chuckled, leaning close to Evan's ear.
"Even nothing at all."
Crystal nodded. "Night terrors are as common as colds here. I'm well trained. Evan and Evelyn used to have them all the time, sometimes they still do." She nodded.
Evan blushed and stepped back, unsure how to react to this. He gulped and backed up against the wall, eyes wide as he looked his lover up and down.
"Fun's can be very dangerous to those around him," Hinata noted. "There have been times when we've had to restrain him." She sighed softly.
"He's had a horrible life."
Fun sighed a little when Evan backed away.
"Too much?" He asked. He didn't regret his words, though. But he regretted how he said them, and when. "I'm sorry," he said gently.
