She paused for a minute, taking the time to shut her emotions down, going numb before continuing. Sure, she didn't feel the depression anymore, but she also didn't feel anything at all.
She paused for a minute, taking the time to shut her emotions down, going numb before continuing. Sure, she didn't feel the depression anymore, but she also didn't feel anything at all.
Rashi froze when he felt her emotions suppressed. "That's never good…." he whispered.the
She'd been told countless times that's suppressing emotions like this wasn't good but she didn't care. It worked and made the pain go away so she dealt with the lectures.
Rashi pushed his wals up, sliding to the floor and lying back.
She arrived home as an emotionally broken mess. She collapsed onto the floor and kicked the door shut behind her, curling up into a ball to cry.
Rashi wanted to help her, momentarily stunned as her emotions flooded her again, but he didn't want to cross the line of personal space.
She curled up tight, hoping the pressure would trick her brain into thinking someone was actually hugging and that she wasn't alone. But alas, it didn't. She was stuck drowning in the sea of her emotions because she shut everyone out and refused help so she wouldn't bother anyone.
Rashi felt like he was drowning. And it hurt because he couldn't climb out.
She didn't know what to do and didn't have the strength to go get her pills so she just chose to stay on the floor until the dark waters swallowed her whole and she passed out on the floor.
Rashi almost passed out with her, but was able to fight it off. Though he lay on the floor thinking about what to do.
It was the only time she ever got a dreamless sleep, just swimming in the darkness of her own mind.
Rashi managed to recenter himself, continuing to meditate as he tried to figure out what to do to help Fiona.
That was the thing though, she didn't want help. She'd much rather drown alone than be saved and feel guilty.
Rashi couldn't understand why she felt so guilty.
The guilt was mostly from her brother. She'd asked him to help and he took it as his duty to take care of his older sister. And on one of these check up trips was he in the accident that claimed his life. Now she refused to ask anyone for help for fear that they'd meet the same fate.
Rashi sighed. Hopefully he and rio could find a way.
She was slowly trying to relax around them, trying to let herself trust them.
Rashi sighed. They'd just have to keep trying.
She has been trying though, so they couldn't say she wasn't.
Rio came up the stairs to find Rashi meditating again. He didn't bother asking about Fiona.
She slowly came out if her unconscious state though she didn't bother to move, as much as her stomach protested that she should eat something for the first time in 3 days.
Rio came out of his room to find Rashi was still meditating. He was shirtless. Again. But he didn't mid as he started making breakfast.
But she refused, figuring when she could find the energy to get off the floor she would.
Rio set a plate down in front of his twin before heading out on the front deck to think.
It took a couple hours but she did manage to haul herself off the floor and to the kitchen although she didn't feel all that hungry.
