He crossed his arms, his mouth set in a tight line as he waited to see if Elliot would say anything else or best case scenario, just go away.
Elliot, instead, moved to push his way inside.
"You've been doing pretty pathetic, on your own," he said. He was stalling, but he knew he never to take the spell away.
“Wow thanks. Go ahead come on in, make yourself at home.” He said with as much sarcasm as he could, slamming the front door a bit as he closed it.
Elliot ignored the sarcasm, already moving around to pick the house up.
"You've been living like a pig," Elliot said with a chuckle.
“Yeah in case you haven’t noticed, I’m blind.” And highly depressed, but he definitely wasn’t going to mention that to Elliot.
"Mm, I'm not the one who made you look when I teleported away!" Elliot let out a soft sigh.
He couldn’t argue with that. In his current state he believed that Arien had purposely let him get blinded. “Is there something you need or did you just come to piss me off??”
"Actually…" Elliot set down the pills he had picked up. "There is something I need to do."
“Well what is it?” He asked, resisting the urge to tell Elliot to hurry up and do it already.
Elliot made his way back over to Rafael slowly.
"Fix you."
“What the hell do you mean ‘fix me’?” He asked, taking a small step backwards only to hit the wall.
"You're… Broken. Something is in here that shouldn't be." He tapped Rafael's head.
"I'm going to take it out."
“And why should I even trust you. You hate me.” He said, swatting Elliot’s hand away.
"Yes, but I hate seeing Arien this hurt more." Elliot reached out to grab Rafael's chin.
"A mistake was made. A lesson was learned. Time to reverse."
(reverse the spell eliot please!)
Rafael let out a gasp, feeling the change almost automatically. Finally realizing the spell that Elliot had put on him in the first place, he wanted to kill the man. But he didn’t have the time. “I need to get to Arien.” He said, more to himself than anything.
"Yes, you do." Elliot withdrew from Rafael. His voice was flat, defeated. A bit sad, even.
(Yes.. go help your lover!)
He almost felt bad for Elliot. But he didn’t have time to unpack that right now. “Thank you.” He said to the other before running out of the apartment. He barely managed to not get hit by cars on his way there. His only focus was getting to his lover. He finally made it, knocking loudly on the door. “Arien!” He called out, hoping the other would let him in.
Arien was curled up on the couch. If he only listened to the television, he wouldn't hear his phone go off, and his friends couldn't talk him into anything anymore. Still, his eyes widened when he heard his name called. Still, he refused to let his hopes rise- Rafael had probably just forgotten someone. He stood sluggishly, making his way over and opening the door.
"Y-yes..?"
As soon as he heard the door open, he threw his arms around the other, almost knocking him over with the force of the hug. He couldn’t even say anything at first, overwhelmed with emotion and feeling the tears coming to his eyes. “I’m so sorry..” he whispered. He couldn’t even imagine what the other had gone through.
Arien's heart was pounding harder than it had in a long time as Rafael hugged him. He stared at the other man, tears coming to his own eyes. He stumbled back a bit. No. No, this wasn't real, it couldn't be.
"I-I…" Arien pulled away from Rafael shaking just a bit. The man was toying with him again, that had to be it.
(Nuuuu Arien…)
(well what do you expect after what he went through?)
(cries)
