“Ye-Yeah, I do,” Lukas said softly. Meeting her gaze, he reached up and brushed a piece of her hair back, his hand staying on her cheek.

She blushed lightly and pressed her cheek into his hand affectionately. Don't do this. At least one of you is going to die…

Lukas rubbed a thumb across her cheek, smiling softly. She looks so pretty… “Can I…kiss you?” he asked shyly.

She blinked for a second, then nodded slowly.

Lukas brought his mouth down to meet here, moving his lips against Julia’s slowly. Her lips were soft and sweet, exactly what he was expecting, and he couldn’t describe what he was feeling. It was like a drought being quenched by a thunderstorm. Wonderful and relieving all at once.

Julia closed her eyes slowly and felt her body melt against his. Don't do this… She pushed down the worries. Even if this was only temporary, she decided that she was going to enjoy it.

Lukas tilted his head, deepening the kiss slightly. He wanted to take this slow, and not frighten Julia, or himself for that matter. Gently, he tugged her closer to him, his skin running ablaze wherever she touched him.

Julia felt herself being drawn to him. Slowly, gently, she lifted her hand and cupped his cheek. She rubbed her thumb in a soothing motion over his cheek.

Lukas slightly leaned into Julia's hand, reveling in its warmth. After a few more seconds, he pulled away, gently laying his forehead on hers. That was great. More than great, actually.

Julia slowly caught her breath, leaving her hand where it was. He seemed to like it. God, his lips were addictive… Calm down, Julia!!! She already wanted to kiss him again, but she held back, unsure how he would react to that.

More. I want more. Lukas swept down and kissed her again, this time with more passion, tilting his head. He hoped she didn't mind; it would be quite embarrassing for him if she suddenly rejected him. And it would hurt, quite a lot actually.

"Mmm!" she hummed in brief surprise, melting her lips against his. She lifted her other hand and joined them behind his head.

He pushed her back till she was against the elevator wall gently, as to not hurt her. Lukas bit down lightly on her bottom lip, trying to get a reaction.

Julia gasped softly. He hadn't hurt her in any way, or even tried to at all. He treated her delicately – as if she could break if he held her to aggressively. She found herself falling deeper in love with him every passing second.

Lukas took the opportunity to slip his tounge inside her mouth, tasting Julia. She tasted sweet, and he was immediately addicted to the taste. More…

"Mmmm…" she moaned quietly. As if his lips weren't enough… Stop it! a little voice in her head screamed. Don't do this!!! She smothered it quickly as she reminded herself of Lukas. Lukas…

Lukas turned hot at the sound Julia made, and decided quickly that he wanted to hear it again. Moving his lips from her mouth to her jaw, he pressed light kisses down her neck, sucking in certain places, trying to find her sweet spot.

She tilted her head back to allow him more room. When his lips reached the base of her neck, she moaned again softly. Good God…

Lukas smirked into her neck. Gotcha. He focused on that spot, sucking and biting down lightly to leave a mark.

Her heart raced. Another moan released itself from her lips. She wasn't aware of anything except Lukas… The elevator doors opened without her even noticing. She only was snapped back into consciousness by a familiar, snarky voice.

"Well, well, well… What do we have here?" Haymitch… Her eyes flew open.

Lukas froze at Haymitch’s voice. Shit. He relaxed after a moment, and buried his face into Julia’s neck and brought her close comfortingly. “Hello Haymitch,”

Haymitch eyed them, nodding slightly. "I like this," he chuckled.

Julia found it hard to relax with Haymitch watching. "Sorry," she murmured to Lukas quietly.

“It’s okay,” he mummered back, before standing up, keeping an arm around Julia’s waist. Lukas glanced at Haymitch, seeing that look in his eye, and rolled his own. “Whatever you’re thinking Haymitch, don’t.”

"No, this is too perfect. Lovers, no… star-crossed lovers from District Twelve!" Haymitch grinned.

Julia thought silently, leaning against Lukas. She buried her face in his chest.

Lukas pressed a kiss on top of Julia’s head and ran a hand comfortingly up and down her back before turning to Haymitch, raising an eyebrow. “I hope you understand we’re not your playthings,”
