'Haha, funny. Would you prefer phone calls over facetime?' Dylan asked her, grabbing a towel as he made his way out to the pool.

mh well it doesn't matter to me but I don't have any makeup so I'm afraid I won't be as pretty as I was last night
'I'm sure you're plenty pretty.' Dylan insisted, closing out of the texting application to call her instead.
She answered the phone with a smile "Hi"
"Hey! Give me just a second, I'm about to jump in the pool." Dylan told her, setting his phone down on the edge before slipping in.
"um okay" she said she out her phone on speaker and held it in her hand as she walked outside with buster by her side
After slipping under the cool water, he came back up with a light sigh. "Alright, back. Apologies for disappearing for a second."
'' it's quite alright Fitzpatrick" she said with a smile
Chuckling, he leaned back against the wall of the pool. "Honestly, I'm liking that nickname." Dylan told her, glancing up at the blue sky.
"Is that so? Is it because it's your last name or because I said it?" She asked teasingly
"Maybe a bit of both, actually." Dylan hummed, running his hand over the water. "I like hearing someone say it."
"you have fans cheering your name" she said stepping off her porch
"But I don't like hearing it screamed at me. A gentle sound is way better." Dylan whispered a bit, sighing just a bit. "It's way more appealing to me."
"glad I could be of assistance " she said with a smile
"Of course, you did a perfect job." Dylan chirped, sighing again as he shut his eyes and leaned back.
Crimson Rose smiled as she walked down her road to the park "Thank you for deciding to bug me but it's not bugging me actually you've made me smile a genuine smile"
"Oh, well I guess it's not working. Huh- I'll have to try harder." Dylan joked, as he felt his own smile pull up on his lips. "But I'm happy I could make you smile."
"me too" she said
"So, whatcha doing right now?" He asked her, rubbing his face with the cool water.
"Going to the park" she said with a smile
“Ooh fun! I’d ask what the weather is like, but I’m also outside.” Dylan chuckled, resting his head back.
She smiled " so anything you want to tell me" she asked
Dylan furrowed his brow, feeling like she was expecting something specific. But he didn’t know what that was. “I mean… am I suppose to have something to tell you?” He asked her softly, tracing the concrete.
"you did give me your number that was for a reason I imagine you don't have out your number to random girls" she said
“Well… I guess that’s true. I just… don’t know what it is yet. You were too special to let go of, though.” Dylan shrugged a bit with a light laugh.
